No Ordinary Family, Dancing with the Stars, and Pregnant in Heels

What to watch on Tuesday, April 5.

It's a night of hellos and goodbyes in TV town! Wave goodbye to some of your dearest friends as you watch them drive an El Camino off a cliff; then wave hello to some new friends who won't judge you for having cut the brakes on your old friends' El Camino. Here's to new beginnings!

SEASON FINALE, 8pm, ABC
No Ordinary Family
In tonight's "season finale" (start saying goodbye!!), the dastardly Mrs. X (Lucy Lawless, as herself) abducts J.J. and forces him to use his super brain to solve some riddles. You know, typical supervillain stuff. Meanwhile, George finds himself in imminent peril due to an impending airborne disaster.

9pm, ABC
Dancing with the Stars
Tonight we'll learn who will be the third contestant to be kicked out of the proverbial house and face a lifetime of of living on the street. Also, there will be a "live performance" by Wizards of Waverly Place's Selena Gomez and her "band," The Scene.

SERIES FINALE, 10pm, FX
Lights Out
Heaven always takes the good ones: Tonight we get our final episode of the best, angstiest boxing drama since that one episode of Battlestar Galactica. In the series finale, Lights finally faces off with Death Row Reynolds for the heavyweight title.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, Bravo
Pregnant in Heels
Meet Rosie Pope, a "maternity concierge" who helps wealthy Manhattan women lead opulent pregnancy lifestyles. Obviously this is a reprehensible occupation to have in this economy. Fact. But I guess that's why people like shows like this? We can watch TV shows about rich people while fanning ourselves with past-due bills because the A/C is broken? Very cool.

REUNION SPECIAL, 10pm, MTV
Teen Mom 2
In the season finale of television's most compelling horror show, Dr. Drew checks in with Jenelle, Chelsea, Kailyn, and Leah as they look back on their first year of on-camera motherhood.

PLUS ALL NEW EPISODES OF...

No Ordinary family is the only thing on tonight thats worth watching. I do not understand what happend to TV. It used to be awsome i loved setting back with a smoke some good food and a whole season of a great show, however you cant do that anymore really there is very few good shows on. Furthermore the shows that are good get aired is screwed up ways you will get 1 to 4 eps aired 1 a week like you should then you will get a 1 to 2 month hiatus only to have it come back on for 1 to 2 eps more then its a season finale or somthing. the ended No ordinary family tonight on eps 20 WHAT happend to 22 24 and wait oh hell a 26 ep season (26 ep the x-files) no now we get 11 eps maybe 13 or they end them on 18 19 n 20. they have taken the last good TV away and good movies seem to be as rare as a dinosaur fossil these days and have been for quite some time. it seems you get maybe 4 good movies a year an we get jipped on full season of the very few good TV shows on. Oh last but not least lets not forget how they LOVE to cancel the only good stuff on TV to run the 100th season of survivor or some other horrid reality show or redudant/repetitive crime drama. okay i've said my piece not that it'll make any difference.

Well Tuesdays are officially the worst day for television. I guess I might finally get around to watching Chaos from Friday night, even though it got horrible reviews. I'll give it a shot.

the NCIS's and then a slew of PBS shows that are way better than anything else on network TV tonight: History Detectives and Ken Burns' Civil War documentary. I'll probably stay up for Jennifer Garner on Letterman as well.

NCIS. I'm sort of tempted to watch No Ordinary Family since it's certain to be the final one, but I'd have way too much catching up to do and I really didn't care for the episodes I did see.

That one episode of "Battlestar Galactica" (especially the extended version) still had much better boxing scenes (Adama v. Chief, Lee v. Helo, Kara v. Hotdog and Lee v. Kara)with all the pilots cheering on the fighters, better writing, better acting, and more drama than the entire 12 episode run of "Lights Out". At this time, I will be rooting for Deathrow Reynolds because the writers have made Lights such an unsympathetic jerk over the series run. Good actors top to bottom, but awful writing and a boring story is what killed this show. There needed to be more meaningful bouts. In the episode of BSG you mention, there were at least 4 important bouts, in the entire run of this show there have only been 2 important bouts, Light's cowardly heaving of Reynolds through the window of the restaurant doesn't count, and the best one was the MMA fight. Hoping we at least get a good fight in tonights final episode.
