The New York headquarters of ABC Studios was host to an unusual protest this Monday, June 6, when "lactivists" gathered on the sidewalk for a "nurse-in." A group of about 200 women nursed their babies and held picket signs reading "Shame on View" and "Babies Were Meant to be Breast-fed."
The feeding frenzy was provoked by comments made by Barbara Walters and her fellow The View hosts, who discussed Walters' recent "uncomfortable" experience sitting next to a nursing mother on a plane and seemed to celebrate the announcement that cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck had fed her infant daughter her first bottle of formula. Protestors were concerned that the hosts' comments could dissuade new mothers from nursing their children.
A spokesperson said that Walters was surprised by the outcry, and confirmed that all hosts of The View are in favor of breast-feeding.

I don't get it, you think she would try and spin it so that there is no view on it, just that she simply was sitting next to a mother nursing.
