Open Caption: One Tree Hill's Series Finale

  • 15comments

There was a crazy epidemic sweeping across the open captioners yesterday: It seems many of you couldn't see the picture! EPIC FAIL! On my part, I'm sure. I worked a little magic and it should be showing up now, but—I've got to say—for the 16 of you who still gave it a go, KUDOS! You're my heroes. Also, I dig the idea of a staff contest, so keep your eyes out in coming weeks and we might just give it a go. Because there were no picture-specific caption suggestions, I've decided to post the captions based on the blank canvas! But for your satisfaction, the original photo that was supposed to show is there now. Well played, you guys, seriously. You're such great sports. Here are the winning captions from yesterday's contest:

From qbe_64:

Christi: "Well I've got to hand it to you, I did not think you could find 6 purple elephants in a pyramid juggling chainsaws while balancing on a stack of sea turtles."
Chloe: "Yeah, Walmart really does have everything."

From Taccado:

"This week all the girls perfected the Ninja dance—everyone passed the camera without getting detected."

From FringeFanatic:

Chloe: "Do you think C. Killian knows the TV.com commenters can't see the open caption picture?"
Christi: "Oh honey, there can only be one explanation. You're just not pretty enough. Now suck in those cheekbones!"

Today's Image: One Tree Hill

It's the series finale, ya'll. Some would say it's the end of an era, considering this show's been on air for almost a decade. In tonight's two-hour episode, the crew celebrates the 10th anniversary of Tric, the club Karen opened way back in Season 2, which brings together old and new faces, alike. In the still below (I promise it's there this time), Ted, Victoria, Brooke, and Julian (left to right) share a drink around a laptop—watching hilarious YouTube videos, I'm sure. Post your best caption ideas in the comments!
