There's no way around it: Summer is wedding season. In honor of these marital months, we've rounded up our favorite TV weddings in a two-part list. First up in Part I are the touching and beautiful unions that make you swell up with joy for the happy couple. (And here's Part II: The Crazy and the Cringeworthy!)
15. Gertrude and Al on All in the Family
This far-out ceremony is actually quite touching. And check it out, it's Billy Crystal in a one-time appearance on the show!
14. Rita and Dexter, Dexter
Supremely romantic... especially for a serial killer.
13. Emily and Richard, Gilmore Girls
After Emily and Richard renewed their vows, they showed their guests that they really know how to cut a rug.
12. Miranda and Steve, Sex and the City
There were so many SATC weddings to choose from, but we especially love this simple union between Miranda and Steve. (Please excuse the poor video quality!)
11. Phoebe and Mike, Friends
She's wacky and he's wacky, but their wedding was nothing but spur-of-the-moment sweet.
10. Amita and Charlie, Numb3rs
Even though they suffered a few rough patches, these two just couldn't be divided.
9. Melanie and Lindsey, Queer as Folk
Nearly the whole gang was in attendance for this special commitment ceremony.
8. Peyton and Lucas, One Tree Hill
Every rose has its thorn, and this relationship definitely wasn't always a bed of roses. But Peyton and Lucas finally tied the knot. (You can watch their wedding here.)
7. Rhoda and Joe, Rhoda
Those shots of Rhoda in her wedding dress in the subway are just pure brilliance. Rhoda may have best art-directed opening credits ever.
6. Rufus and Lily, Gossip Girl
Two words: Sonic Youth. Is there really anything cooler than Kim Gordon officiating your wedding?
5. Meredith and Derek, Grey's Anatomy
These two kept their vows short, sweet, and simple. And on a Post-It.
4. Joanie and Chachi, Happy Days
Featuring the two kids in love, the return of Richie, and the Fonz in a suit. Oh happy day!
3. Kevin and Scotty, Brothers and Sisters
It's hard not to tear up while watching Scotty and Kevin officially become life partners.
2. Whitley and ?, A Different World
I love surprise endings! Especially at weddings! Thank you The Graduate, for inspiring so many!
1. Jim and Pam, The Office
The vows on the Maid of the Mist were so cute! But Jim and Pam simply couldn't have gotten hitched without a little inspiration from the JK Wedding Dance video.

wait. the only reason i even looked at this was because i saw a picture of the angela/hodgins wedding in my email. so.... where is it in the list? that wedding was so adorable! they belong together!

Way too many weddings from the last 5 years. How about Latka and Simka from Taxi? Or if they are doing All in the Family, how about Mike and Glorias wedding? They only mention Al and Trudys because of Billy Crystal. Or how about Felix getting remarried in the final episode of The Odd Couple? Or Martin Crane getting married while Daphne has her baby on the final episode of Frasier? And even though I never saw it, Luke and Laura on GH was a big deal in the early 80s, that wouldve been a better choice than half the forgettable choices they made here.
Ha ha Luke & Laura! Remember when the entire country was in on that?

Who could forget the pairing of Dorothy & Lucas from 'The Golden Girls'? It was touching & sweet & brought tears to your eyes, because we knew it was the end of a great show, & i think it affected all of them deeply. Rue really looked like she was fighting the tears. I don't usually get into weddings, but this one was one of my favorites. Also even tho on the show it didn't last, the wedding of Cameron & Chase on House was a pretty nice wedding to see, made you realize that these 2 that once were really in love, what could have been.
Forget romantic and sweet. The most awesome weddings are with Dynasty's massacre and Haley and Nathan's OTH wedding that ended with him drowning in a limo and her screaming on a bridge.

I was really hoping that phoebe's wedding would be on here!! It was so damn sweet and the best part was that she was marrying paul rudd! The Dexter wedding was a very sweet episode for that show and I always loved Miranda and Steve's wedding. How it was private and in that beautiful garden during the most lovely time of year, and I really loved how red and gorgeous cynthia nixon's hair looked.
I really liked Angela And Hodgins "wedding" from Bones. It should of been on the list!!
How could up possibly leave off Lily and Marshall's wedding in How I Met Your Mother?
Probably the funniest wedding you never saw was on The Vicar of Dibley, the marriage of Geraldine (the Vicar) to Harry.
Angela and Hodgins from Bones had a really sweet wedding, in jail nontheless. It was really great, should be on this list :D

My favourite wedding is Angela & Hodgins's (Bones) in the episode The Witch In The Wardrobe. That was so sweet! :-D (L)

Mel&Linds' wedding was the best. QAF US rules!
Jim Beaver and Molly Garrett, "Whitney Ellsworth" and "Alma Garrett" on "Deadwood". It was one of the most memorable events in "Deadwood". Joanie dressing Calamity Jane was priceless and it was close to the tragedy of Bullock's nephew/son's death. It was a strong turning point for the final run of episodes because the camp had just welcomed George Hurst to town as well. Why didn't David Milch finish this brilliant show properly?
How about Richie and LoriBeth on Happy Days with Fonzie as Richie's standin?

Four words: Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski. Sure, the convoluted TV movie plot leading up to the wedding was crazy, but the ceremony itself was nice. The same can be said for Jesse and Becky on Full House.
I agree with the office wedding being the best, but i think Ellie and Awesome's wedding, and Monica and Chandler's wedding should be on the list too.
Monica and Chandler Bing's wedding was the best. Even though Ross and Rachel didn't get hitched at the end of season 10, I think they're already married to each other in their heart. This may be me being silly, but don't you think it would cool if Ross didn't turn in the annulment papers after Rachel signed them. If this were true then they were married throughout the season without Rachel knowing about it.
