New York-based United Licensing Group
is suing Stacked
star Pamela Anderson,
saying that she is in breach of a five-year
contract she signed with it. ULG says that
Anderson agreed to make it her exclusive
licensing agent, which means the group would
be brought in to negotiate any product
endorsement or likeness licensing deals.
In the lawsuit, United Licensing says that without its knowledge Anderson negotiated a deal with Bally's casino for a line of slot machines bearing her likeness. In addition, ULG asserts that Anderson has said no to several licensing deals it has brought to her and that she has made herself unavailable for promotional appearances and autograph signings.
In one instance, Anderson pulled out of a personal appearance at a Petco event once she learned the chain sells live birds. Anderson is a member of animal activist group PETA.
Anderson is currently promoting her new novel, Star Struck.

Hello Pamela. That's what pet shops do. If they didn't sell live birds they would be a grocery store.
