Pam's panto days helped DWTS choice

Pamela Anderson says her stint in panto
encouraged her to join DWTS

"I think that's kind of what gave me the buzz to perform and do some dancing," Pamela explained, after taping the American version of Strictly Come Dancing in Hollywood this week.

"I loved it - Wimbledon Theatre with Brian Blessed, I just really liked being on stage, it's fun and this is the same thing," she revealed.

Pamela said she's going all out to win-over DWTS judge Len Goodman.

"I love Len, I want to impress Len and I'm going to. It's all going to click pretty soon, just watch..."

But the actress doesn't have too much to worry about when it comes to making her mark with the head judge. "I like old Pam," Len explained.

"I think she's embraced the competition. I thought she was going to be hanging onto her partner and not [be] so enthusiastic, but not so, she's come out and she's really given it a go. I think a lot of it was down to her doing panto!"
