How much did I love last night's episode of Parks and Recreation? Let me count the ways:
1. Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) date with Chris (guest star Will Arnett)
The small-screen reunion of this real-life married couple was even better than expected. Arnett played Chris, a douche-y MRI technician with a glimmer of Arrested Development's Gob in his eye. Prompted by Leslie's MRI virginity, Chris brought her to his exam room to, yes, impress her with a free scan, and the results were hysterical. Who else but Arnett can get away with saying "Sometimes smiling is read as AIDS" or "You've got a big, industrial-sized oven"?
2. Ann Perkins's (Rashida Jones) man-hoarding
Sure, she's dating Mark Brendanawicz (Paul Schneider), but why not have a player on the bench, too? Justin (guest star Justin Theroux) is pretty cute and charming, after all.
3. Ron Swanson's (Nick Offerman) random acts of violence
He yanked his phone cord out of the wall and smashed his cell phone with a hammer, conveniently located in his desk. Moral of the story: Do not call Ron Swanson. He has a strict "Do Not Call" policy.
4. Tom Haverford's (Aziz Ansari) fashion-laced man-flirting
While interviewing candidates for the position of Ron Swansons's assistant, he complimented one on his "plum V-neck." He also told Justin that he was "wearing the hell out of that suit." But don't worry, ladies, he's single now! (Except did you notice he was still wearing his wedding ring?)
Seriously, guys. Best episode yet in a season chock-full of winners. Do you agree?
