Normally, one-off television guest appearances aren't particularly newsworthy. But when they involve one of the most recently overexposed celebs and a reunion of actors from one of television's greatest comedies, it's worth noting.
Victoria Beckham--also known as Posh Spice and soccer star David Beckham's wife--is finally getting her wish to further attempt to infiltrate American pop culture with a guest appearance on Ugly Betty. Her appearance on TV has been rumored for some time now, but ABC only today made it official.
Beckham, who had her own barely watched one-hour NBC television special earlier this year, will play herself as a celebrity bridesmaid of Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) at her wedding to Bradford Meade (Alan Dale). ABC hints that the wedding won't be every little girl's dream and that plenty of fireworks are bound to happen.
Seinfeld fans who can't afford the show's $280 DVD boxed set can at least take solace in the fact that two former cast members of the show will be on the small screen together again...if only for one episode.
Jason Alexander, the pretzel pitchman who played George Costanza on Seinfeld, will be featured in an upcoming episode of The New Adventures of Old Christine, Julia Louis-Dreyfus' (Elaine from Seinfeld) new CBS comedy.
Alexander will play a man Christine dates, and he sounds like a real winner: he's a lizard handler for children's birthday parties.

Seinfeld is the greatest sitcom of all time. The entire cast was phenomenal.
I'm not a crazy fan of Posh's, but she'll do well on Ugly Betty.
So glad Posh is coming to Ugly Betty- I can see the two meshing perfectly.
Be cool to see George aka Jason dating Elaine aka Julia Louis lol
I figured Victoria Beckham would be playing a broomstick.
I can't get away from the Beckhams! At least I don't watch Ugly Betty so I don't have to worry, but I hope those two go back to where they came from soon since Mr. Posh is too 'hurt' to play for six weeks.
still wont watch betty
I don't understand the hype with Vicki.
Not very happy about Victoria Beckham-I just feel she is being pushed at us WAY TOO MUCH
