Public Access: krazy4crack on American Idol

In our first edition of Public Access, we let level 51 user krazy4crack sound off on guilty pleasure American Idol. krazy4crack hails from the Philippines, but has no problem staying on top of American television. Enough with the chatter, the floor is all yours, krazy4crack.

It has only been the first week of American Idol's eighth season and I'm already feeling the effects of the new changes they have brought onto the show.

One of these new additions is the beautiful and opinionated new judge, Kara DioGuardi. While everyone is still getting around to familiarizing themselves with her name, she has become a very interesting fourth wheel to the loveable trio of Simon, Paula and Randy.

What seems to stand out with Kara is how she gives really good critiques. Overall I'd still have to say Simon gives the best comments, but sometimes they aren't so much critiques as insults. I'm glad to see Kara can give her advise (I'm looking at you Paula) in a nice way (Simon…) that you will actually remember after watching the episode (Don't think I forgot all about you Randy).

Before American Idol, Kara was already working in the music industry, but not in ways you'd expect. She was a producer and songwriter who worked with some of the music industry's biggest names. Among these big names are her current co-worker Abdul, Celine Dion and Faith Hill. She has also worked with American Idol alums like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, Katharine McPhee and Taylor Hicks.

Her name might be a bit alien for most of us, but it won't be long until Kara DioGuardi becomes a household name. After all, she is starring on ratings juggernaut American Idol.
