At 10 p.m., CBS took over with David Caruso and CSI: Miami at a 5.6. The CMA bagged a 5.2 and Studio 60 took a 3.3.

Studio 60 is definitely on at the wrong time slot. Not because nobody is awake at ten o'clock if they work long days, but because they're pitting up a brand new series against CSI: Miami which has been crowned the number 1 show in the world. Check out the Neilsen ratings: CSI: Miami 5.6, Studio 60 3.3. You don't put a new series up against the number 1 show in the world and expect it to survive. If they want more attention there should be a time-slot change...or at least some advertising (which I hardly see).

I agree that Studio 60 belongs in a different time period. Sunday would be a good night. In think the best episodes of Studio 60 are those episodes that don't focus on the romantic problems of the main characters.

In my opinion, Studio 60 is on at the wrong time. Heroes is a golden show, right now. Studio 60 has a strong foundation of a fan-base that is not going anywhere. I think that Studio 60 should either be moved to Tuesdays where Kidnapped was, or that Heroes and Studio 60 should trade time slots. I watch both shows. The pairing is off. Studio 60 needs a companion show. It is good writing and just plain good old fashioned entertainment. Acting, writing, directing, is all good. People are interested in the mystery behind Heroes. Studio 60 is entertainment, and not a mystery show like Heroes, Lost, Six Degrees, etc. NBC needs to do something to help Studio 60. Cheers and Seinfeld did not do that good their 1st seasons and look where they went.

NBC has some serious schedule issues all around. they moved Kidnapped from Tuesday cause they were worried about House killing in. and put it up against Lost follow up "the Nine" and CSI NY. and guess what. it got killed. didn't helpe that it was after a feel good reality show. totally different audiences. Studio 60 may be grand (not my taste) but it keeps half of Heroes audience and that's bad. clearly a sign that the pairing is all wrong. Kidnapped and Heroes might have worked better. Studio 60, I think, would have been a great show to try to re build Must See Thursdays. Unfortunately, NBC seems to prefer killing shows and dealing with the wrath of angry viewers and their emails etc (go all you Knappheads, give them heck) than trying new things with the sked.

Far be it for me to question my intellectual superiors, but are you Studio 60 fans so insecure that you have to make yourselves believe that everyone you doesn't care for that show is an idiot?

Every time I look at one of these boards, there is another Studio 60 fan calling those of us who don't like the show, morons.

Give it a rest.

Most of the comments here show why S60 is having problems, why it is really great, and why it should be picked up. The great thing, and simultaneously the problem, with S60 is that the majority of the dialogue is over the head of the average TV viewer, which, based on the success of American Idol, and Dancing W/ the stars; is a complete and utter moron. Hopefully S60 keeps going, and getting better - b/c its nice to have a show that doesn't make me feel like my brain is dying w/ each passing second.

S60 is a great show. I loved The West Wing and considering that a large part of the cast is on S60 I get to enjoy the sarcasm and snappy dialogue again. I hope it's picked up for a full year.

My personal opinios is: quantity doesn't mean quality, by the way, this happens most of the time...really good shows not getting the expected audience. Sometimes it just take some time...who on Earth has the mental capacity to watch CMA???!!!!!!!! country!! hahahaha come onnn

It is noticable that most people appear to love Studio 60, why is it only hanging in there? Very strange. Above is only comments on that show, people on this site seem to not really mind about Heroes.

FNL belongs in the slot after Heroes. It is a similar audience. Studio 60 just doesn't fit there. Maybe it would have more success if it moved to a different time slot. It could do ok and find an audience if you like an hour of sarcastic remarks every week. You know if that's your thing.

I truly hope that they also renew Studio 60 for a full season and pick it up for more than that. It was fantastic last night and I know that it's going to get better and better. I've told everyone I know to watch it so yeah.. keep watching... Peace/Ciao

I am quite concerned about Studio 60 because it is one of my 'must sees' during the week. I find it very intelligently written, which is a welcome change from much of the TV lineup. The writing is smart and snappy and a breath of fresh air. I hope that it's able to find its audience.

Heroes continues it's upward swing, great episode. Studio 60 was awesome! John Goodman was great as the judge can't wait for next week for the conclusion to this two-parter. Justice will be axed next.

studio 60 is awsome. and the proof that it maintained it's audience, while having increased competition this week from the stupid CMA, shows it's finally found a small core audience. really, who watches crap country music awards anyway?

Heroes and Studio 60 are both awesome, but i think S60 would perform better at a diff time period. Love it though, hope it gets a full pickup
