It's amazing that two of my favorite shows (Heroes and 24) are competing. I support them both equally and watch them when they're both recorded on my DVR.

I watched all of the 24 seasons... until Heroes came on. Even knowing that I can go to NBC.com and watch the full episodes of Heroes I still prefer it in real time. Neither show represents reality although 24 is closer. There is enough reality on the evening news. I'm looking for the occasional diversion from it. 24 does not supply it. Heroes does.

Funny how a lot of people are comparing a new show to a 5 year old one that has had years to grow and expand. That's just sad...

I knew 24 would win. Ever since they moved to Mondays nothing can touch them.

I KNEW Heroes was gonna lose ratings once 24 came back...

I've never watched 24, so I'm not a real big fan of that, so I'm tuning in to Heroes on Monday nights.

    24 Best show on earth.......

    Feb 02, 2007
  • pooldude256

Both shows are good, but Heroes is no match for 24. When it comes down to it, 24 has had 5 solid seasons and is starting another great one, and Heroes is a freshman drama running on momentum. Heroes will lose it's appeal very soon, don't worry.

If you haven't seen an episode of 24, you can't say it sucks then. Really...you have no clue what you're missing.

I think Heroes problem this week was a lot of people thought it was still on a break - I have spoken to 4 people that I know that are kicking themselves because they thought Heroes wasn't back until Feb

TommiP are you serious? Heroes cliffhanger this week was awesome. Plus 24 is having its best season ever. Remember the whole season about them trying to stop a nuclear bomb ? Well the stakes just got suped! What more could you ask for? Its totally mental and we love it.

He resigned for three more years on 24. Someone said he only signed for 6 seasons.

24 is becoming a sad parody of itself. Nowadays it's like a really bad Bond movie. I've been really disappointed with mr. Bauer's series this season - how many times are they still going to use that "Jacks gets caught by evil dudes" plot line..?Heroes was a bit too soapy this week - c'mon guys, little less conversation, little more action.

You can watch Heroes in the re-runs. 24 is only shown once.

    Go Jack! Go 24!

I've been very disappointed with both Heroes and 24 as of late.....actually, I was never really impressed with heroes to begin with....

Heroes is awesome, but will it still be the cutting edge series it is now 5 seasons in? I have no idea, what I do know is, season 6 of 24 is Epic PWNage. Both seris' are great, but eventually, Heroes may loose its novelty, whereas 24 will remain relevant. And as of now it's still the best show on TV.
As to what I watched, I watched both (lucky me) here, Heroes is on at 9pm, and 24 is on at 10pm (as well as the original (pm slot) so it's win-win for me.

    Jan 31, 2007
  • happy1230

i dont think there's anything between the two that can be compared except for their time slot ...heroes is a newbie and just starting ... the show has to go through a lot first before it can prove itself worthy to be in the 24 realm ... i like heroes ... but i think in comparison to 24, heroes is like an earl, while 24 is the KING!!!!!!!! go 24!!!bauer power

I have never seen Heroes. I won't give up my 24 to watch it.

This is just Sad, gusy get over it, Both Heroes and @4 are awesome shows and i see no sign of them ending any time soon, although Kether Sutherland was only signed up for 6 seasons on 24 and I havent herd anything new about that. Your all acting like little kids about this, get over it they are both staying for at least another season.

The ratings on here may not be right for several reasons. Heroes is on the Canadian Channel Global at 9:00pm and 24 is on at 10:00pm and I happen to watch both of them. but from what i can see from Tv.com's raiting thing is that they may not be including canadian channels into it's votes.

I like both Heroes and 24. It's tough because they are in the same time slot as each other. My DV-R isn't working so I can't record the other and watch one at the same time anymore until it's fixed. I've chosen 24 for now in hopes that I can figure out what has happened on Heroes once my DV-R is back online.

  • Blue_Mary

24 won because of all the attacks it suffered over the last week by politicians and news people, which made people watch to see what everyone was complaining about. I don't care what wins in the ratings, if it is good I want it on my TV!Mary

All Hail Jack! Long live 24! The great rein of Heroes might just be coming to a close as it's ratings cause it to fall away from hit show status and 24 to rise to immortality.

According to the NY Times, Nielson does not count college students when adding up "young viewers" (although they plan to start doing it). So how can any of their 18-24 figures be taken seriously?
