The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show's once tight, firm ratings have given way to sagging, wrinkly returns. The CBS special scored a 2.7 rating in 18 to 49s, with 6.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen overnights. That's compared to last year's show, which came in with a 3.8 rating and 8.8 million viewers.
In a night filled with reruns, ABC fared well with a Christmas chestnut, Santa Claus Comin' to Town. NBC's Friday Night Lights scored its highest Tuesday ratings since October 24 and logged the most viewers since October 17.
At 8 p.m., ABC earned a 3.9 for Santa Claus. NBC and CBS both snared a 2.5, with Lights and a repeat of NCIS, respectively. Fox scored a 2.2 for Standoff, and The CW earned a 2.1 for Gilmore Girls.
At 9 p.m., Fox and a House repeat doctored up a 4.7, good enough to become the night's highest-rated show. NBC and CBS again tied, this time with a 2.4, for repeats of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Unit. ABC took a combined 2.0 for Big Day and Help Me Help You. CW came in with a 0.9 for a Veronica Mars rerun.
At 10 p.m., NBC scored a 3.1 for a repeat of Law & Order: SVU. ABC came in with a 3.0 Boston Legal, and CBS earned a 2.7 for The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Overall, Fox came in with a 3.5 rating/9 share in 18 to 49s, with 9.0 million total average viewers; ABC, 3.0/8, 9.0 million; NBC, 2.7/7, 8.2 million; CBS, 2.5/7, 9.1 million; CW, 1.5/4, 3.5 million.

House is a good show, I only found it 'cause Standoff is backed up to it, however this is just a tad bit misleading. I know there is more than just a few website that disect ratings, but the bottom line is House didn't win the overall ratings in the 18-49 catagory alone. 'Overall' doesn't mean the one hour it's on alone. Curious, do the research!!!! Or here, let me help.

Last week was 5.79 million viewers. Once again, reviewers and so called news reporters give some FOX shows credit and not others. Thanks for not mentioning that Standoff is slowly regaining the viewers that the baseball break scattered.
