House followed and messed up the competition as well, scoring an 11.1 rating, with 26.0 million viewers overall.
At 8 p.m., Fox flew with its 12.9 for Idol. CBS earned a 3.6 for NCIS, and NBC scored a 2.4 for Dateline and took a 2.0 for a repeat of America's Funniest Home Videos. CW earned a 1.9 for Gilmore Girls.
At 9 p.m., Fox scored its 11.1 for House, CBS earned a 3.6 for The Unit, ABC took a 3.4 for Primetime, NBC snagged a 2.9 for Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and CW landed a 1.1 for Veronica Mars.
At 10 p.m., NBC posted a 4.9 for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. ABC earned a 2.8 for Boston Legal, and CBS scored a 2.6 for a repeat of Without a Trace.
Overall, Fox scored a 12.0 rating/28 share in 18-49s, with 28.5 million total average viewers; NBC, 3.4/8, 9.3 million; CBS, 3.3/8, 12.2 million; ABC, 2.7/7, 8.2 million; and CW, 1.5/4, 3.5 million.
