Ratings: Rock rises, Grey's tops

Change has done NBC good.

Last month, the network moved floundering Wednesday sitcom 30 Rock to Thursdays, and, along with the return of Scrubs, it helped the network to its best night in a month. 30 Rock was up 25 percent over its season average, while returning Scrubs scored a similar bump over last season's average, according to Nielsen.

Over at ABC Grey's Anatomy dominated the nine o'clock slot, with only a CSI rerun to fight it. Grey's scored a 9.6 rating/23 in 18-49s, with 24.3 million viewers.

At 8 p.m., CBS took a 5.3 for Survivor. NBC earned a combined 4.5 My Name Is Earl and The Office, and ABC took a 4.1 for Ugly Betty. Fox scored a 2.0 for two episodes of 'Til Death, and CW earned a 1.2 for a Smallville rerun.

At 9 p.m., ABC took the Grey's express to a 9.6, while CBS scored a 5.0 for a repeat of CSI. NBC managed a combined 3.5 for Scrubs and 30 Rock. Fox took a 1.6 for The O.C., and CW scared up a 1.0 for Supernatural.

The 10 p.m. hour saw NBC's ER continue its championship season earning a 6.0, ABC scored a 4.0 for Men In Trees, and CBS took a 2.8 for a rerun of Shark.

Overall, ABC scored a 5.9 rating/15 share in 18-49s, with 16.5 million average viewers; NBC, 4.7/12, 10.4 million; CBS, 4.4/11, 13.9 million; Fox, 1.8/4, 4.2 million; CW, 1.1/3, 2.9 million.
