Report: Braff to Scrub on

The drama of next week's final cuts on fall programming might not include the bombshells industry watchers were hoping for, as the fate of several shows has already been revealed.

Trade magazines have reported that NBC is the main culprit, with early renewals of Friday Night Lights and Medium, as well as pickups of four shows, including The Bionic Woman.

Now, one of the network's biggest question marks is allegedly heading back for a new season. Scrubs, which was rumored to be on its way out last week, has been renewed by NBC, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Citing "sources," the trade says the medical comedy starring Zach Braff will return for its seventh season and 18 more episodes. Scrubs debuted in October 2001.

Nbc Finally did something right! I hope they give them more than 7 seasons. Nbc doesnt really have that many shows worth watching.

I am so happy to see them return and if this is the last season that they will finish the season with a grand finale rather then the way they finished off season 6 that would have been a sad ending to one of NBC's biggest shows ever.

We need good sitcomdrams like scrubs to stay on the air especially in the face of the Surviving American Idol Thinks They Can Dance craze.

NO! WHy won't Zach Braff just go away? It's ridiculous that trash like this gets picked up and AD gets axed after three seasons. COME ON! I love both. And if AD had been on NBC it might've gotten a better chance. FOX screwed the pooch on that one. (Plus, as much as I loved AD ratings were poor.)
