Report: Celeb Apprentice will have Charisma

Donald Trump's The Apprentice, a corporate-ladder reality show that saw regular Joes competing for a job in the Trump empire, was an instant sensation when it hit the air waves for the first time in 2004. That success was short-lived though, as subsequent seasons quickly lost ratings and viewers.

NBC left the program off its upcoming fall schedule in May and, shortly after, Trump announced he was quitting the show. However, the program jumped out of the grave in July when NBC and Trump revealed they were reviving the brand by adding a new twist--celebrities.

Everyone involved have been tight-lipped about exactly which celebrities would be involved in the made-over Apprentice, but inside sources are finally spilling the beans about which stars may hear the infamous "You're fired!" killjoy.

Fans of high-school-aged killers of the undead will take a sudden interest in the new Apprentice, as the first name dropped to appear on the show is an alum of Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Actress Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase on Buffy, will be participating as one of the show's "contestants," according to TVGuide.com.

"Charisma is ready to make like [former Apprentice contestant] Alexis Carrington and bring out the claws if need be," an inside source told the site.

And if Trump has his way, there will be plenty of clawing and hair pulling. Late last month, The New York Post reported that invites to the show had been sent out to *gasp* Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, and that Paris Hilton had expressed interest in being on the show. Other rumored celebs lined up for the show include Carmen Electra, George Foreman, Tony Hawk, and Joan Rivers.
