What to watch on Wednesday, July 27.
It's a good thing grizzly bears don't watch television, because we'd all be kicked out of our houses by now. Hey, check out tonight's highlights:
Lou gets a "you're too fat" intervention from the fellas, Tommy struggles with his 9/11 ghosts after agreeing to an interview in a TV documentary, and Colleen tries to follow Mike's advice with regard to Teddy. Will there also be heartfelt shouting and manly, back-slapping hugs? Possibly, not tellin'.
As Eddie's chance at parole hangs in the balance, Evan sidles up to his newfound grandfather for help. Plus Hank continues to treat Shaw (guest-star/buff-monster Jonathan Tucker) despite the difficult nature of his afflictions(s). Meanwhile Jill can't quite remember certain details about her accident. Cheer up, everyone! No frowning in the Hamptons!
9pm, Animal Planet
I Shouldn't Be Alive
This episode had me at its title: "Christmas Horror." Follow a group of New Zealand hikers who accidentally get stuck on the edge of a cliff during a torrential downpour. No wait, DON'T follow them, that sounds dangerous! Unless you LIKE being stuck on cliffs, but I don't recommend it.
Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman
Tonight the world's greatest voiceover artist asks a simple question: Can we live forever? Don't panic, you don't have to answer that question. Morgan Freeman will! Tune in for tonight's exploration of science's most cutting-edge research on the aging process and how humanity may one day achieve immortality. (P.S. This show is so great.)
10:30pm, Comedy Central
Jon Benjamin Has a Van
Tonight Jon Benjamin leads an undercover sting investigation into an undercover surveillance equipment store, plus he accidentally runs over an old gypsy woman and must deal with the inevitable gypsy curse that follows. Personally I have like eight or nine gypsy curses plaguing me at any given time, so this hits kind of close to home for me.
