Ian Abercrombie has passed away at age 77, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Perhaps best known for playing Seinfeld's Mr. Pitt—Elaine's fussy, socks-obsessed, Woody Woodpecker balloon-loving boss—the British character actor's TV credits span nearly fifty years and include roles on such shows as Birds of Prey, Dynasty, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Wizards of Waverly Place, and many more.

Rest in peace, Mr. Abercrombie. I'll be spending the rest of the afternoon pulling up my socks, eating candy bars with a knife and fork, and watching the following clips in your honor.
