... It's a question that's been on everyone's mind since May: What is super hunk Josh Holloway going to do now that Lost is over? The actor who played bad boy Sawyer on the island now has a new mission. Holloway is joining the cast of Mission: Impossible 4, alongside Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner. [E! Online]
... With Lone Star riding off into the great sunset in the sky, Fox now has a vacancy to fill on Monday night. The new tenant will be Lie to Me, which returns to its old timeslot behind House. Lie to Me was originally scheduled to return to Fox's schedule on November 10. [Fox via press release]
... And the other Lone Star domino to fall involves Human Target. Originally scheduled to return this Friday, the action show now gets a bump up to Wednesdays (where Lie to Me was due to come back) starting November 17. Even though it's been delayed, a move to Wednesdays is good news for the show. [Fox via press release]
... A lot of manly men have complained that True Blood, once a goldmine for topless females, got "really, really gay" this season. Well, that's okay with GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). The group declared the series the most gay-friendly show on television, with six gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender characters. But what does the American Vampire League say about the show? [LA Times]
... In the wake of Discovery's suit against some of the stars of Deadliest Catch, a trio of captains have walked the plank. The network sued Captains John and Andy Hillstrand for allegedly not completing some work on a spinoff. Now the Hillstrands and Captain Sig Hansen have opted to quit the show entirely. [THR]
... Sam Raimi's production house, Stars Road Entertainment, has sold three projects to three different networks. ABC gets a drama about a "female vigilante with a law license" (yawn); CBS gets Lancaster, about a Scotland Yard detective who joins the LAPD (snooze); and Fox is going with Smokers, which follows a documentary crew (snore) that follows "working class heroes who exterminate alien threats in deep space" (wake up suddenly). [Deadline Hollywood]
... First it was Bieber, now it's Dita. CSI has booked fetish model Dita Von Teese for a guest appearance. She'll play a "classic Hollywood femme fatale" because seriously, what else would she play? Look for the episode in January. [EW]

I'm guessing GLAAD didn't watch Spartacus.
Good for Josh Holloway...and good for Human Target.
It's goo "Lie to Me" comes back earlier.
Nothing good on Wednesdays ??? - surely you jest. There's Criminal Minds and Hellcats, a couple of stella prog right there. :)
Well, despite having to wait, Wednesday is a good night for Human Target. In addition to not being Friday (I'm so clever) there is also NOTHING else on Wednesday. Wednesday night is a programming ghost town! And if I may: True Blood is awesome. Gay straight and/or truly effing weird!
Vampire shows are gay anyway.
Do people really look to a vampire show to see half naked women. Who cares if gay storylines are brought in are people really that ***phobic in the 21st century? There are gay people in the world and so it makes sense for there to be gay vampires in a fictional show, get over it. I'd agree with novembernicole Tom Cruise is the worse name on that line up he is not at all a crazy person that worships a dead science fiction writer..........
Crud, I was hoping the new season of Human Target was going to start this Friday.
Love Josh Holloway, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner ! . . Tom Cruise - not so much.
I'm dying for Human Target to return.
Grace Park=HOT!
Josh is awesome, can't wait to see him in MI4!!! And Dita Von Teese on CSI... well, it can't be worst than Bieber!!!! And I was really looking forward for Human Target's return this Friday... guess we'll have to wait a little longer! Oh, and I can't wait for Lie to Me to return!!!! :D
Good for him
So wait. Human Target WON'T be on this Friday? Now I'm bummed!
Wait....while I cannot think of anyone off the top of my head, who in True Blood is Transgender???
Josh Holloway can do anything he wants after Lost and he chooses... MI 4? Really? A FOURTH movie for which part I wasn't even that good? Doesn't the man have an agent that can advice him against stupid decisions like this?
The Fox project "Smokers" sounds interesting.
Damn,17 november, Sweet not a death slot anymore, and LOL-Mission impossible 4. And COME ON - TOM CRUISE, COME ON...
