Selena Gomez has denied she's dating

The 17-year-old star of Disney's Wizards Of Waverly Place - who is launching a range of clothes with George at Asda and whose debut album Kiss And Tell is out on April 19 - feels at her age, with her busy career, she needs time for herself.
Selena said of the rumours: "Not true - I'm single very much single."
The teen star added she doesn't get time in her busy schedule to date.
She said: "I don't unfortunately. I'm trying to tackle everything - which is good because I'm young and I really should kind of date myself for a while - I should probably focus on myself a little bit."
Selena has been compared to fellow Disney teen stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, but insists she is not competing with them for the spotlight.
She said: "I will totally, completely speak for myself on this one, I don't know them very well, so I don't know how they would... but I'm saying that I'm very lucky and that I love what I do, so there's no room for competition for me. I just want to continue to do what I'm doing and I shouldn't really focus on what everyone else doing, and enjoy what I'm doing."
Very mature thought when asked about competition if she follows it she may find herself a unique spot even in future :)
Yeah. Selena should really do what she feels is right for her to do, and I admire her for her independence. And for the record, I get really sick of people (and me sometimes) always comparing her to Miley or Demi. She's a person all her own, not just another face on Disney Channel. She's a very special young actress and I hope she will keep doing what she loves.
