Shat out of luck

ABC has announced it is scrapping its order for additional episodes of the William Shatner game show Show Me the Money. The network will run the remaining seven episodes that have already been filmed.

In early December the network ordered another six episodes, but the show dipped in the ratings, prompting them to rethink the decision.

Premiering November 15 after the finale of Dancing With the Stars, Money scored a 3.8 rating and 12 million viewers. As the first episode progressed it shed viewers until it was down to a 2.9 rating. Last night's episode scored a 1.6 and 6 million viewers.

Money will move from Wednesday at 8 p.m. to Tuesday at 8 p.m. for the rest of its run.

There is only one way to explain William Shatner's success: There is a God, and he's completely without taste.

It was a pretty lame show though. They should do more to promote their hidden gems though, shows like Boston Legal, which absolutely rocks.

Shatner needs to just be Denny Crane and ABC needs to make more episodes of great shows like Boston legal instead of stupid game shows.
