Sopranos star now one of NBC's Heroes

At least one of the mysterious new Heroes roles revealed last week has been filled. Dania Ramirez, who has a recurring role on HBO's mob-tastic The Sopranos, will join Claire Bennett, Hiro Nakamura, and the rest of the superfriends next season as a regular, says Reuters.

Ramirez plays A.J. Soprano's ex-fiancée Blanca on the HBO show, which finishes its six-season run in a few weeks. Honing some superpowers should be old hat for Ramirez, who was Callisto in X-Men: The Last Stand.

Heroes still has yet to announce who will be playing the remaining characters--an Irish mobster, a surrogate for Niki/Jessica's son, a late-20s African-American mother, and a boyfriend for cheerleader Claire.
