Sound off on President Bush

Got a question for the President? Slap 'em up here!

President Bush will deliver his sixth annual State of the Union Address tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. PT. The Washington Post predicts the president will urge the use of ethanol in gasoline, more research on so-called "clean" coal and on hybrid cars, and a greater focus on nuclear energy.

Do you want to get something off your chest? What would you ask the President? Sound off! Who knows, maybe you'll change the world.

I agree with moviefreak2004 on here. He isn't the best president we ever had but he isn't the worst. I am also a Republican and he isn't the most hated man in the world.

Mr. President, how did you win a second term when it appears that no one voted/supports your tactics? Are you suffering from psychological regression, do you think that you are 4 years old and this is a imaginary game or something? These are real human lives you are PLAYING with because of some foolishness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant in advance.

I would have no problem with the State of the Union address cutting into television programming, even on all the channels, if there was going to be ANYTHING OF SUBSTANCE OFFERED. If there was any hope of actually seeing this man accept and admit his total failure to do anything correctly and offer REAL, PRACTICAL solutions to address the mess that he and his administration are largely responsible for (Democrats obviously have a lot to answer for as well. If they weren't complete panzies maybe we wouldn't be in this situation. Maybe.) I would gladly welcome the interruption and watch the speech. But clearly that won't happen. It will be more obliviousness. More ignorance. More lies. More wasted time. Also, even putting aside this president's numerous failures, the speech itself has become a sham. The whole thing is a self-masturbatory farce. No matter how terrible the "state of the union" half the time is spent in applause. Right, because the people there are doing such a great job. No wonder everyone is upset that their TV time is being pre-empted. When reality is this depressing, is it any surprise people miss their escapist fantasies.

Again, sorry for the rant.

The quote thing I said was a joke. I'm actually more concerned with Canadian citizens getting deported and tortured based on faulty intelligence. Maher Arar is a victim of racial profiling and paranoia. I think the American government should have to answer for treating people this way.

Hilary Clinton is a hypocritical harlot I can agree with you there, RON PAUL FTW!!! vote for him or w/e it is you do in your nation. This left right paradigm that you're all so obsessed with baffles me, nothing changes whoever you vote for. If clinton gets in thats 36 years of Bush/Clinton leadership (Reagen was run by Bush Snr) You might as well have a royal family Bush I Bush II betcha another Bush gets in and its Bush III. Fix your bloody nation before you destroy the world please, the elite is running the show and you need to wake up and realise this. It's brainwashed people like Kevin who are making the world officially hate America (check BBC article on that for proof). RON PAUL RON PAUL RON PAUL vote for him he gets no press but he's the only one that gets it.

Mr. President, what would you say to people like bettie_p & Saint 311 who would rather watch some hacky stupid show, then know about things that are going on in this nation that affect them, oh yeah don't you agree Lost kicks ass

Bens that's funny because I have known people over there, I guess you know more than the people actually fighting the war, it hasn't been executed perfectly, but Saddam is out of power and dead, Iraqi Children are going to school, it's people like Bens who listens to what he wants to hear. Acid forgets about Hillary Clinton & Harry Reid who voted for the war with the same information, who are criticizing the president for the same decision they made, which makes them hypocrites. I wouldn't expect alot of intelligence from a bunch of people who watch TV all day. Angel is more concerned with quotes, popsicle is either in 3rd grade or has some mental problem. Watch C-SPAN, that shows how people vote no spin, it also had an Iraqi TV station as I mentioned, who was way more upbeat about it than our news, it's really frightening all of these people rooting against their country because their politics are more of a priority to them than the welfare of our country. DID YOU ALL FORGET 9/11 what are you all "special" we need to stop this crap before they try to attack us again, and least weaken them.

Will you take Maher Arar off the terrorist watch list? Your government was suspicious of him and deported him to Syria where he was tortured and isolated for almost a year even though he is a Canadian citizen. A Canadian governmental inquiry has found no evidence that he has ever been involved in terrorism. So will you stop calling him a terrorist?

Also, you said "Failure is not an option" on 60 Minutes, which is Ed Harris's line from Apollo 13, Any other movies you'd like to rip off while you're at it?

Could you please tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so God(the non existent deity people believe in) help you to tell the truth for once about there things and the future.

Mr Bush. As a resident of the UK, I'd like to ask you if you have any regret to your insidious actions, of course I expect no sincerity from you in this latest speech of lies. Kevin (for gods sake look at the downing street memo's and all the other evidence that this war is a sham) and all Americans who are so out of touch with reality that they think running into full scale war that makes no sense and obviously has no end (HOW DO YOU DEFEAT A MILITARY TACTIC, TERRORISM IS GOING TO BE AROUND FOREVER JUST LIKE ANY OTHER TACTIC EMPLOYED BY A GROUP) Also, Mr President, do you regret that now virtually the entire world now despises America when surely, you want to be seen as a good force in this world? So Mr President, stop starting non-sensicle wars that you clearly had no intention of finishing. P.S. All Americans like Kevin (unless you're being sarcastic *hopes*) who actually think any of the Bush family crime sindicate are sincere in any of their words or actions need help.

why are Canadians posting when they have done nothing to help and know nothing about the situation with their lack of involvement, they are about as worthless as the French. P.S. nice job with unemployment rate being 4% that means 96% of this country are employed for the math majors out there, that is a good statistic, I found it funny that George Stephanopolis asked why no one has mentioned that amazing fact and Dick Cheney said I blame that on you guys, I found that pretty funny. I hope you zing Hillary like last year, when you mentioned a billed that they didn't pass and she got up and was like dancing, she was proud to halt the progress of her job, and then you said the negative consequence and money that it cost because she and the other liberals voted it down. Thanks again Mr. President.

Mr. President isn't there anything we can do to stop Hollywood and the media, from spreading all negative propaganda, we have made more progress in Iraq than has been let on, and when I watched the Iraqi news is more positive than our media, how is that? Don't these people have a soul, why do they think their politics is more important than their country. Keep up the good work, I think it's funny that liberals actually hate you and then say you are intolerant, they actually hate people with a different view, I can assure you last year may have been the last time I ever vote for a Democrat, unless they can find some less extremist partisan Democrats, but I doubt it. Thank you vey much Mr. President, and more people are with you than you think.

Mr. Bush, as a Canadian living abroad I want to ask you if you ever pop your head out the window long enough while traveling in your limos and Air Force One to actually SEE what is going on in the world around you? Relying on the advice of others, filtered through their own agendas and colored by their own frailty only leads to the kind of isolationist and misguided governing we continue to see from this White House. Respect your office enough to actually make your decisions on what is best for the citizens of the United States within the constructs of their place as citizens of the world. How can you continue to defend your actions otherwise? Thank you.

There are hundreds of questions you could ask this guy, like "How much glue did you sniff as a child?" or "Do you feel like a role-model to the mentally disabled? How does it feel to show them that even vast mental retardation doesn't disqualify you from the most important job in the country?" But, honestly, the question I would MOST like to ask Bush is, "Do you really believe your own Bullsh|t?"

Mr president unlike all these other comments i would just like to say thank you. Thank you for making the republican party so hated. Its the greatest thing you couldve done for this country. Hopefully everybody is still alive in 2008 and havent forgotten how awful republicans are. Although in 2004 they were brainwashed again, so i have low expectations for our future.
