South Park Is Taking Over Comedy Central for an Eight-Day Marathon

Comedy Central is doing something special to lead up to South Park's Season 22 premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 26: It's basically shutting down and turning into all South Park, all the time for eight-and-a-half days.

The network announced Thursday that the marathon will start Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. ET and continue until the Season 22 premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. ET, though it will take nightly breaks for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and The Office from 11 to midnight. Additionally, new episodes of Tosh.0 and The Jim Jefferies Show will air in their regular timeslots on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

But other than that, Comedy Central will air 273 episodes of the iconic animated sitcom. This is not every episode; there are 287 total. Sucks to be one of the 15 that doesn't make the cut, I guess.

Check your local listings to find out when your personal favorites are airing. If you can't catch an episode, you can always stream it on Hulu.

I wonder which 15 they aren't airing, and if the movie will be shown also.

The episode where Randy is on Wheel of Fortune might be one they won't show.

I'd guess "200" and "201" are not their due to the intense controversy over them.

I assume the episode where Cartman feeds a kid his parents isn't one of them. I heard there are places where they removed it.

Also the episode that Cartman dresses up as Hitler.

A South Park marathon going on for days is nothing Comedy Central hasn't attempted before.

Bring on some real news. And a real editor, for that matter.
