The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka was eliminated from the US TV show this week.
His eyes filled with tears as he thanked his professional partner Chelsie Hightower, telling her: "You are one of my best friends. I have loved every second of this. I love you."
He also thanked her "for being so great to my beautiful fiancee Vienna", to whom he proposed during the finale of The Bachelor.
"I am so unbelievably thankful that I had an opportunity to be part of this cast," Jake said. "This is the coolest thing. I can't imagine what in life could top something like Dancing With The Stars."
The 32-year-old pilot-turned-reality star came into the results show in last place, earning 21 points out of 30 for a samba that the judges - Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba - said lacked rhythm. He and Chelsie also placed last during the swing-dance marathon this week.
The judges scores are combined with viewer votes to determine which celebrity is ousted each week.
Stars still in the running for the show's mirrorball trophy include singer Nicole Scherzinger and actresses Pamela Anderson and Niecy Nash.
