SpongeBob's Gettin' Hitched!

Bachelor party!

It's wedding season in Hollywood!

Last week marked the nuptials of Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) on The Office, and now ... SpongeBob and Sandy? Yes, the square-bottomed sponge and the Southern belle squirrel will tie the knot on November 6 at 9 p.m. on Nickelodeon -- and their guest list just might out-do the Halperts'. EW.com reports that Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, LeBron James, Robin Williams, and many more will contribute their voices to the episode, entitled "Truth or Square." Pop the bubbly -- it's going to be a great night!

The episode is titled "Truth or Square".
Its probably just a dare or something.
Anywho I dont care about new Spongebob. It used to have decent plots and was actualy funny but now it just seems too predictable even for a kids show.

  • CDCB

Dang, if SB and Sandy really have "tied the knot," I'll be like..."Whoa."

    Oct 21, 2009
  • jonzilla_basic

Could be worse...They could have made this a same sex cartoon and have him marry Patrick.

    Oct 19, 2009
  • Marcster1994

I'm gonna see this only for Tina Fey,Will Ferell, and Robin Williams

EVERYONE KNOWS SPONGEBOB GAY DON'T TELL ME THESE LIES >:I THESE NEW EPISODE ARE ***ED EVER SINCE THE MOVIE

    Oct 18, 2009
  • jessiexedward17

even if this doesn't happen, I'm still really excited for this episode. I have ALWAYS been a fan of spongebob, since I was 3 years old. :)

    Oct 18, 2009
  • KingBoo112

They are not getting married for real.

    Oct 17, 2009
  • guyguyguy1234

The new commercial revealed that it is a memory. He says "Remember when sandy and I got married?" I think it is a fantasy.

    Oct 17, 2009
  • CaptainHouse

Spongebob is childish and girly. Just because those tend to be gay stereotypes doesn't make someone who falls into them gay Didn't he show an interest in Sandy in her first few episodes, or am I remembering wrong?

    Oct 17, 2009
  • sciencegirl09

I believe the "wedding" arrangement is just a fantasy because the two haven't even started going out.

    Oct 16, 2009
  • Jamesbray

In the new commercial it is revealed he is dreaming it. He's not getting married.

    Oct 16, 2009
  • lanmanna

@peteyday Says the person with the Family Guy avatar? That shows been going downhill since Ep. 1.

    Oct 16, 2009
  • JixHedgehog

I thought it would be a play too..I'd rather see who Pearls mother is

    Oct 15, 2009
  • JellyFishJammer

The idea is simply hilarious and oh so cute, but seriously? This is SpongeBob we're talking about, he's not the kind of guy that gets married! And whatever, at least I know it's a play, but I guess it'll be cool to see.

    Oct 15, 2009
  • SpongeBobsBFF

I think its just a play, they arent getting married...P.S the series isnt getting worse its actually getting better : /

    Oct 15, 2009
  • Tregster

Huh.. I thought if he would ever get married to anybody it would be Patrick.

    Oct 15, 2009
  • pilouuuu2004

Sponge Bob jumps the shark.I started hating Sponge Bob when they delayed Avatar episodes because of it.

    Oct 15, 2009
  • LordAndrew

Sounds like the whole episode is flashbacks, and this is just one of the flashbacks. So the whole episode won't revolve around this "marriage".

    Oct 15, 2009
  • 8bit7055

    (facepalm) FAIL...

    Oct 14, 2009
  • peteyday

Ugh. Ever since the movie the episodes have been getting worse and worse. Now it comes to this.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • firstgold

Now wait a sec, they met for the first time in one eariler episodes, how could it be a flashback? Maybe it's the flashback that will convince the present day newley weds to NOT marry

    Oct 14, 2009
  • guyguyguy1234

The episode is all flashbacks, im thinking they TRIED to get married or something. Something wont work out. I know it.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • xTheSpoonx

Sandy's last name is Cheeks BTW, in case any Mods or Admins are reading.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • macabre190788

    Lame.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • StSk8ter29

Ummmmm....who told you people Spongebob was a kid? They even have an ENTIRE episode based on him being a man. He determines at the end of the episode that being an adult doesn't mean you have to lose your childish side and stop having fun.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • IndianaMom

The article says the wedding is one of the "never-before-seen flashbacks" contained in the episode. That makes it sound like they've been married for a while.

    Oct 14, 2009
  • DaVulture

Are you serious? Could this be a publicity stunt? As if he the show needs it, it's still very popular. Kind of weird though but I'll definitely watch, I guess this is to address those Gay rumors." I kind of liked Spongebob being gay it ticked off a lot of nuts like James Dobson. Although this wedding probably will end in a divorce with atleast 5 minutes before the credits.

    Oct 13, 2009
  • Bingy42

Isn't Spongebob just a kid? Wow can anyone say "Jump The Shark."? I'm sure they'll find plenty under the sea where they are.

    Oct 13, 2009
  • shadowysea07

you know its a publicity stunt since their advertising a month in advance DX

    Oct 13, 2009
  • shadowysea07

adult swim called it lol. they new sandy and spongebob would get together a long time ago. this is a pathetic attempt to get ratings for what used to be a decent cartoon. most of the episodes are ***ed now. also i thought spongebob was gay

    Oct 13, 2009
  • causkitty

I was always a fan of SpongeBob when I was younger. I always thought he had a secret "thing" for Sandy. As I got older I started to give in to pressure and started thinking that he "liked" Patrick, but I still liked him and Sandy together. Right now, I can't wait for this episode. I've been waiting for SpongeBob to at least get a girlfriend/boyfriend forever, and low and behold, he's getting hitched. I say congrats to Spongey (lol my special name for him because I couldn't say SpongeBob!! **Toasts imaginary toast**

    Oct 13, 2009
  • froggergirl2

And here I thought that SpongeBob was gay like every other website tells you...Im pretty sure, though, that he'd driven her crazy.

    Oct 13, 2009
  • buttwasted

Lets just hope the divorce episode never happens

    Oct 13, 2009
  • Carolee99

I didn't think that Spongebob was old enough to get married. I always think of him as a kid, kinda like Big Bird. This is a bad idea. A VERY bad idea.

    Oct 13, 2009
  • SpongeBobsBFF

    wow...just wow 0_0...

    Oct 13, 2009
  • VenomRitual

LMAO can u imagine their babies?

    Oct 13, 2009

    wow are you kidding me?
    just let the show die

    Oct 13, 2009
  • stui8

    Oct 13, 2009
  • KingofIPirates

    Sounds like a bad idea..

    Oct 13, 2009
  • FineChinaTUF

Always considered Spongebob to be gay or at least asexual

    Oct 13, 2009
  • Memorical

pathetic attempt at publicity for a show that hasnt been good in years

    Oct 13, 2009
  • nostalgiafan1

I used to love Spongebob, but now it's just becomming boring and stupid. I wish I could say I was excited for this episode (I really do), but I'd be lying...

    Oct 13, 2009
  • Starprincess13
