Vicky Entwistle wants the Battersbys to
be reunited
The actress, who plays loudmouth Janice Battersby in the soap, would love Bruce Jones and Georgia Taylor to reprise the roles of Les and Toyah Battersby for the rumoured nuptials of Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).
She told Inside Soap magazine: "If rumours in the press about a possible wedding for Peter and Leanne are to be believed, I'd love Bruce to come back so Les can give her away."
She went on: "Georgia's doing so well in Casualty [as Ruth Winters], so I'm not sure she'd be able to commit to Corrie long-term. But it would be great for the Battersbys to be reunited for one episode."
The actress said she loved it when the Battersby clan were the family from hell.
"We assaulted other characters during our first week on set - it was fabulous. I'd loved to be the nightmare neighbour again."
