It's looking like the network battle for Katee Sackhoff has finally been won. The sought-after Sackhoff broke out as a television star on Sci-Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica as Starbuck, making her a hot commodity among networks seeking a new female lead. With BSG D-O-N-E, it's time Sackhoff found a new job.
Sackhoff will now call Fox home, according to EW.com, as the actress has reportedly signed on as a regular on 24 [UPDATE--Fox has made it official!]. She'll play a CTU data analyst named Dana Walsh who has some secrets she's hiding. Dana will also be romantically involved with Davis Cole, played by the recently cast Freddie Prinze, Jr.
Before Battlestar Galactica ended, Sackhoff was courted by NBC and appeared on the short-lived Bionic Woman. After that she did a stint on FX's Nip/Tuck and was pegged as the lead on NBC's Lost & Found, but the legal drama pilot wasn't picked up.
