Starz Announces Premiere Dates for Howards End, VIDA and Sweetbitter

Starz has announced premiere dates for its exciting new spring lineup, which includes Howards End, Vida and Sweetbitter.

Howards End, a limited series set in Edwardian England, premieres April 8. Adapted from E. M. Forster's novel of the same name, the four-episode series is the story of Margaret (Hayley Atwell) and Helen Schlegel (Philippa Coulthard), two independent and unconventional sisters seeking love and meaning as they navigate an ever-changing world. Matthew Macfadyen, Julia Ormond and Tracey Ullman also star.

Vida, a half-hour drama following the lives of Emma (Mishel Prada) and Lyn (Melissa Barrera), two Mexican-American sisters from East Los Angeles, premieres May 6. Circumstances force the sisters to return to their old neighborhood, where they are confronted by the past and surprising truth about their mother's identity.

Starz also announced that it would be partnering with Lionsgate to develop an adaptation of the highly successful film franchise, John Wick into an original series.
