Suits Renewed for Season 2

If you are a fan of opposing counsels getting it on, college dropouts making mockeries of mock trials, and law firms whose employees are always ready with a witty comeback, then I have good news. USA Network has renewed new legal drama Suits for second season! And that's not all: Season 2 will run for sixteen episodes, up from Season 1's twelve, so you'll get four more episodes' worth of fine formal duds.

Suits follows a college dropout with a brilliant mind who accidentally lands a job at one of the city's best law firms. Totally plausible! Beyond that it's pretty much your standard, light-hearted legal drama where comical zingers and salacious side sessions outweigh actual law practice.

The most recent episode of Suits drew 4 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults, even against the premiere of Jersey Shore's set-in-Italy fourth season.

Suits airs Thursday nights at 10pm on USA.

exactly, for some ones who's a total genius he comes across as totally useless and always loosing. he should be ripping his opposition apart with his encyclopedic knowledge

I actually miss this show.

I just hope they shore up Mike's mojo. In the beginning he was Mr. Wonderkid of Magic Numbers; slightly ahead of the curve, whipping out data when Harvey needed it, and when the heat got to close to the scam, finding a clever way out. Towards the end of the season, he was pretty much just a bumbling dork. I hope they give him back some of the slickness he had in the beginning - it meshed with Harvey's schtick quite well.

If they just so much as think of canceling Suits, I'm gonna kick their ass! And it's against the law to inscribe that Jersey Shore crap and this show in a same sentence! :)

Suits is just one amazing TV show! I've never found myself so interested in watching a TV series. Well besides "The Unit", which they SHOULD continue! Anyways, great show guys! I can't wait to find out what Trevor tells Jessica Pearson :)

As a partner at a large law firm, the show is riddled with implausibilities regarding the way the show depicts the practice of law. However, this is a TV show and it is meant to entertain, not educate. As such, I find it witty, funny and it is my new favorite show. Congratulations Suits, keep the shows coming!

Suits has rapidly became my favorite show and probably on only show I can actually watch the same episode more than once and still be entertained. I enjoy everything right down to the theme song (Ima Robot). I was a huge Boston Legal fan and I find Suits has a lot of the same quick whit humor without the crude sexual references. Can't wait for Season Two and hopefully it can grab a better time slot because I think the more people that see it will love it.

Actually, the theme song is 'Greenback Boogie' performed by Ima Robot. Other than that one error, I'm with you on this one. Love any show where brains wins over all. And, I'm just an addict when it comes to legal and crime shows.

AMAZING SHOW!!! TV companies should develop a program that also tracks the viewers of their online episodes... With the technology that's available at present in the world ( IE: Internet ) they can't rely on older technology and expect all their TV programs to be viewed on solely the TV anymore. It seems each time I get attached to a TV series it gets cancelled, this is incredible news because for once a TV program I watch is getting renewed. I don't watch TV, I watch episodes online.

But if you watch it online, the tv companies don't make money :S in todays world, everythings about money

The weirdest show this summer, but since I like White Collar I guess it wasn't such a stretch that I'd like this one too. You just have to know that when they start talking about legal-stuff everything they say is bogus... but who's watchin' Suits for its accuracy when it comes to law anyway? Am I right? :P

Reality is highly overrated!
Reply

As long as the actors play it seriously, most people (myself included) are none the wiser to its legal accuracy. Most of it's bull*** in real life anyway, which happens to be the unspoken theme the show is built on.

I can take it or leave it; let's just say I like it less than all the other USA shows, but better than the one they're bringing back "Psycho" which is dumb cubed.

Like this show a lot. It might not be Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, but it's got its own charm. Plus - there's Meghan Markle.

"SUITS" It is the MOST original & anticipated show this season. Watch it more than 3 times already per episode. Keep up the good work !!!

This is my FAVORITE Summer Show. It has quality writing, acting, etc. I am so happy that it got renewed. I am so happy that this network's executives are smart enough to choose quality over reality tv stuff. With that being said, I feel so bad that the SyFy Channel cancels Eureka for more Reality TV shows. Please don't follow the ABC's lead. Their best shows are the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad franchise. Now we know why the world thinks that the US culture is D-U-M-B!

I have to believe that most of us understand what the real world is like and know shows like 'Suits' and "White Collar' aren't reality shows. We spend a lot of money on our TV's and BluRay's and Surround Sounds not so we can watch more of the real world but so we have a place to escape all that crap for just a little while and pretend that the world is fun and exciting. We want to be entertained and lately there hasn't been much in the real world that would be labeled entertaining. Less Reality TV and more Fiction! Who's with me?

Its better than 50% of the stuff on now!!!!

I've been watching. Not a favorite or anything, but its been okay enough to watch, especially during the summer. I remember watching the trailer/teaser before the season started and thinking that this show would suck bad. But I guess that trailer didn't do it any justice, because the show's been pretty decent.
