What to watch on Friday, April 29.
Well, we did it, you guys. Another endless gauntlet of weekdays recedes in our rearview mirrors and we've EARNED that mixed metaphor. Have a great weekend...your TV sure will:
8pm, NBC
Friday Night Lights
Tonight Vince must deal with yet another troubled family member and Coach Taylor attempts to straighten out his unruly team. Plus, Tami will have a glass of white wine at some point? Probably.
9pm, Fox
Fringe
Olivia teams up with Sam Weiss (guest-star Kevin Corrigan) to prevent a dual-universe apocalypse.
Question: Does Olivia make a good salary, or is this mostly just volunteer work?
9pm, CW
Supernatural
When Sam and Dean visit a small town where all of the residents are actually DEMONS, they must face one of Eve's most dastardly tricks yet: A demon version of their own mother.
10pm, CBS
Blue Bloods
Tonight Frank is simply appalled when reporters sensationalize his newest case—the murder of a tourist outside a Lower East Side restaurant. Ugh, pesky reporters, always interested in interesting things.

Chase
The team pursues a prison escapee who's eager to prove his own innocence. Just hear him out, okay?!
8pm, ABC
Batman Begins
This is just a good movie right here. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather watch Batman Returns all day (and I often do), but this one is good too, if only for the scenes where the Scarecrow causes Gotham City to see Batman as a flying demon.
SPECIAL, 10pm, Animal Planet
Too Cute! Kittens
Did you notice the title? This is sort of why TV was invented. Anyway, this program follows the birth and first few months of three litters of kittens. "We've done it." —Philo T. Farnsworth

Game of Thrones
Tonight Ned arrives at King's Landing only to find that the King's accounts are in bad shape, plus Jon the Bastard gets off on a bad foot with the other recruits at Castle Black and Catelyn secretly follows her husband to King's Landing. Also there will be tons of doggystyle, I'm guessing? I don't care, this show is terrific!
8:30pm / 9pm / 9:30pm, Fox Update: This weekend's new episodes of Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show have been pulled from Fox's schedule due to tornadoes that have killed over 200 people in the South.
Cleveland Show / Family Guy / American Dad!
In a highly MOMENTOUS crossover event, a hurricane sweeps through each of these three towns and its respective characters must deal with the damage in their typically questionable ways. (P.S. I thought these three programs were already completely crossed-over all the time? Shows what I know.)
MINI-MARATHON, 8pm, G4
Ninja Warrior
During our America's Got Cable showdown in which G4 absolutely trounced Spike, many of the commenters cited this show as being why they liked G4. Fair enough! It's very fun. Tonight and today enjoy a marathon of reruns, capped off with four new episodes in which funny, fearless folks hit the Ninja Warrior course.
10pm, AMC
The Killing
Rosie's funeral is finally held, and her father starts taking matters into his own hands. Plus, Sarah and Holder question a suspect's family, neighbors, and friends.
SEASON 4 PREMIERE, 10pm, USA
In Plain Sight
She's back! Mary McCormack returns as U.S. Marshall Mary Shannon, and she is just tryin' to protect folks. In tonight's Season 4 premiere, she'll seek help from a waitress in order to exonerate Brandi from grand theft auto accusations.

You've got to watch Fringe this week. Seriously EPIC. Although I'm off to watch Supernatural now, thank goodness for time shifting, it sucks that these two are competing with each other.

The Killing. Why does weekend tv suck? I guess it's a sign I should actually be studying.
Friday: Smallville and Fringe
Saturday: Nothing at all
Sunday: The Killing and Game of Thrones
Fringe, The Killing, Game of Thronessss. Also, I LOVE the alternate universe aspect of this season, completely what makes it the best season so far.
@The_Critic833.Nope, like it all. Not many complaints about the show at all. Well done all around. That's what happens if you get the privilege of being able to have 22 episode season. It is absolutely fantastic and I will support any storyline they come up with. Even if it would be a bad episode (which I have not seen yet), it's still better than most other stuff on TV. 100% support.
Friday: Fringe, Smallville and Camelot. Saturday: Nothing. Sunday: Game of Thrones, The Killing and Breakout Kings.
Fringe, Supernatural, Camelot and Game of Thrones!!!
FRINGE!! Animation domination, celebrity apprentice and Khloe & Lamar
Supernatural, Fringe and maybe Smallville and Game of Thrones.
Family Guy and American Dad crossover sounds pretty cool!
@ AnoukvdZee No, sanctuary is now airing on Mondays instead of Fridays now.
Friday: Smallville, Supernatural, Fringe. Saturday: Doctor Who.
Supernatural and The Killing.
The big four: Game of thrones, The borgias, the killing and fringe. Then the rest, supernatural, smallville, and camelot.

CSI: NY, Game of Thrones and Desperate Housewives
Friday: Fringe and I'll give one last chance to Camelot since it's boring boring boring; Saturday as always nothing; Sunday: Game of Thrones, The Killing, Brothers and Sisters, I gave up on Breakout Kings since it's lame and I'll really enjoy The Borgias and of course a big music fan will give a glance to Treme too ;)
doctor who isn't the season premiere this week (that was last week) it's simply episode 2
smallville + family guy + american dad !
@ Cortexifan. ____ I got a question, I'm a fan of fringe, obviously not as much as you but I like the show and think it's a great show. However I hate the alternate episodes, i was wondering if other fans did too, or if it was just me. For me it feels almost like there using those episodes more to keep you waiting a little longer for them to answer a cliff hanger they left on the last "Normal" episode, rather then a well thought out plot.
Fringe, Smallville, Supernatural, Blue Bloods, and Desperate Housewives
ninja warrior! Ninpou!
Friday: Fringe Smallville Blue Bloods and CamelotSaterday: Doctor WhoSunday: Game of Thrones and The Apprentice.
Fringe, Blue Bloods, Game of Thrones, The Borgias, and The Killing
Same as last week: Fringe live on Friday, rewinding my tape and watching it again. Fringe on hulu and the re-run Saturday night.
Supernatural, Camelot, Game of Thrones and The Simpsons.
Friday- Fringe and Camelot,Saturday-Nothing,Sunday-Game Of Thrones, The Borgias, and The Killing. Glad that Human Planet is over and I've given up on Breakout Kings. Sundays were way to hectic there for a few weeks. Two or 3 shows is enough for one night. Two shows is ideal.
