Supernatural, SNL's Season Finale, and Bob's Burgers

What to watch on Friday, May 20.

No offense, but it’s pretty much amazing you made it to the weekend without winding up in prison. Because you are so charming it’s illegal! (Also, your white collar crimes). Anyway, I guess it’s okay you’ve still got your freedom because now you can feast your eyes on THESE:

8pm, NBC
Friday Night Lights
Coach Taylor gets a taste of the spotlight when he receives a shout-out in a big publication, plus Julie runs into obstacles that keep her from returning to school.

SEASON 6 FINALE, 8pm, CW
Supernatural
In tonight's two-hour season finale, a demon kidnaps Ben and Lisa, then Sam will suddenly "remembers" all the terrible memories he'd been blocking. (Because all his regular memories aren't horrifying enough?)

SPECIAL, 8pm, Investigation Discovery
Children of Promise: The Legacy of Robert F. Kennedy
In this original special we'll meet the young students who've been helped by RFK's lasting legacy. True story: At first I was like, "Whoa, Investigation Discovery is airing a special that doesn't involve murder?" And then I was like, "Oh. Right." I guess the only question is, HOW MANY autopsy photos will they intersperse during this uplifting special?

8pm, Science
How It's Made
In tonight's brand new episode of television's most entrancing-yet-nerdy documentary series, we'll learn how custom steering wheels, apple pie, and paper towels are made. Face it: It's this show or going out. (I usually choose this).

PLUS NEW EPISODES OF...

Flashpoint, 8 p.m., CBS
Kitchen Nightmares, SEASON 3 FINALE, 8 p.m., Fox
Dateline NBC, 9 p.m., NBC
Dual Survival, 9 p.m., Discovery
Primetime: What Would You Do?, 9 p.m., ABC

Jennifer Lawrence on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 12:35 a.m., NBC

What to watch on Saturday, May 21.

SEASON 36 FINALE, 11:30pm, NBC
Saturday Night Live
Justin Timberlake hosts and Lady Gaga performs. Which is fine, but we all know the most entertaining aspect of SNL won't come until the last few weeks of summer when we find out who got hired or fired. Have a great summer, Lorne!

ORIGINAL MOVIE, 9pm, Syfy
Sinbad and the Minotaur
In tonight's Syfy Original, Sinbad steals a relic from a sorcerer and then leads his crew to a minotaur's neighborhood where they all just chill for a long weekend. Just kidding, the minotaur tries to eat everybody!

ORIGINAL MOVIE, 7pm, Lifetime
Another Man's Wife
Lifetime does it again! When a family retreats to the mountains for some quality spiritual bonding time, a mysterious local fireman starts giving them tons of trouble. Call the police! What? The line's been cut?! Run outside!

9pm, Animal Planet
My Cat From Hell
Tonight's episode features a pet cat who turns out to be feral, plus a cat with extreme mood swings. Also, there will be between eight and nine montages that attempt to make the tattooed, pierced host look cool and absolutely fail to do so. I mean, a guitar case filled with cat toys? What a rock star!

PLUS NEW EPISODES OF...

Chase, SEASON 1 FINALE, 8 p.m., NBC
It's Me or the Dog
, 8 p.m., Animal Planet

What to watch on Sunday, May 22.

SEASON 11 FINALE, 9pm, CBS
Celebrity Apprentice
Even though we all know the TRUE winner of this season is Marlee Matlin's interpreter, tune in to find out the technical winner: Will it be Marlee Matlin or John Rich? Who cares, as long as the reunited cast gets one last minute in the sun. The crazy sun.

9pm, HBO
Game of Thrones
So what happens after last week's slightly icky but completely awesome episode? Well, tonight Ned finds himself reinstated as the Hand of the King, but ends up making a risky decision. Plus, Tyrion attempts to plead his case to Catelyn's crazy sister, and Viserys makes more foolish demands of his savage leaders.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8:30pm, Fox
Bob's Burgers
Attention fans of The State and Reno 911: Tonight Robert Ben Garant guest-stars as Torpedo Jones, a washed-up baseball player and also Bob's idol. Have a great summer, Bob's Burgers! You are terrific.

8pm, VH1
Mob Wives
Renee attempts to strike a peace accord between Karen and Drita, but WHOOPS! She just makes everything worse. Elegant shouting ensues.

10pm, AMC
The Killing
Tonight the Larsen family finally grows tired of the police department's failures and attempts to take the investigation into their own hands. Plus some VERY interesting local election stuff.

ORIGINAL MOVIE, 9pm, CBS
Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost
Tom Selleck's Jesse Stone character is back for another 2-hour TV movie event. In tonight's installment, Stone investigates the supposed suicide of a girl he'd once known, plus back at the station a new chief gets on everyone's nerves.

Friday I watched Flashpoint, Saturday, didn't watch anything (spent time outside...) Sunday I plan to watch Family Guy's season finale out of lack of something better to watch. Yes, I do know that tonight's episode is the final chapter of the Star Wars parody trilogy which I have already seen :)

Friday -- The Soup; Saturday -- Chase; Sunday -- Jesse Stone, L&O: CI, In Plain Sight. -------------- "but we all know the most entertaining aspect of SNL won't come until the last few weeks of summer when we find out who got hired or fired. Have a great summer, Lorne!" -- I'm hoping all the SNL writers get fired.

Supernatural (x2), The Soup, and Camelot on Friday. Doctor Who and SNL on Saturday. Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom (pandas!), Nature, and Game of Thrones on Sunday. I still think it was a dumb idea to release Friday Night Lights on DVD before it aired on NBC, maybe they just didn't care about ratings since it was the last season.
