SVU, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. Are Planning a Three-Way

"Are you available to babysit? I have to go to Chicago... tomorrow."

NBC is staging a three-way crossover between Law & Order: SVUChicago Fire, and Chicago P.D., the network announced Monday.

The episodes, which are set to air Tuesday, November 11 and Wednesday, November 12, will share a storyline about a child pornography ring that stretches from Chicago to New York. The multi-show arc will begin on Tuesday at 10pm with an incident on Chicago Fire; it will continue the following night as the P.D. squad travels to New York City to team up with the SVU investigators in SVU's Wednesdays-at-9pm timeslot. Then, the SVU team will head to Chicago for the final hour of the event at 10pm. Chicago P.D.'s Lindsay (Sophia Bush), Halstead (Jesse Soffer), and Voight (Jason Beghe) will appear on SVU, and SVU's Rollins (Kelli Giddish), Amaro (Danny Pino), and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will appear on P.D. However, no one from SVU will appear on Chicago Fire

"(Benson) and Voight share some great scenes," Chicago Fire and P.D. executive producer Michael Brandt told reporters on Monday.

While SVU and P.D. crossed over last season when Lindsay traveled to New York, and P.D. and Fire have crossed over several times, this marks the first time that all three shows will be working together.

I watched the SVU/CPD crossover last season and it was terrible. I don't think I'm willing to do it again.

This is a smart idea. Too bad I am not watching any of the show. It sounds quite fun.

If Chicago Fire hasn't let me down so epically and P.D. wasn't such a hammy show, I might've actually been excited about this. The way it is now, I'll probs miss the CF epi and only watch the P.D. one cause it has SVU characters in it (didn't help the show last time but we'll see)

Couldn't agree more. I will never ever watch an ep of CF again but then again it sounds like you don't really have to. Agree that the last crossover didn't do much for either show but this one just sounds a little more solid judging by what Mr Wolf said in another interview I read.
I usually just watch SVU but this time I'll catch PD as well, if only to see if - damn I forgot his name, was it Ruzek? - makes another move on Rollins now that Amaro is also around.

So no-one from C. Fire will appear in the PD or SVU episodes? So, I guess the CF ep. is just a lead-in of sorts. Hmmmmm.
