Get ready to see more of Audrey! Or Lucy. Or Sarah. Or whoever she is these days. Syfy has ordered a third season of Haven, its Friday-night staple. Season 2 ended earlier this month and averaged a solid 2.55 million viewers; though the show flies a bit under-the-radar since it airs on party night, it's quietly assembled a loyal audience.
Haven—which is based on Stephen King's The Colorado Kid and is set in a small town in Maine—follows a cop who harbors a lot of secrets. Emily Rose, Eric Balfour, and Lucas Bryant all star.
A holiday episode of Haven, "Silent Night," is scheduled for December 6. Season 3 is expected to return for 13 episodes in the summer of 2012.

I cant wait for this season to start. Please hurry
luv luv luv HAVEN!!!!
when does haven season 3 come out?
I'm a huge fan of haven and have been glued to it since the beginning it stays at 10/10 along side charmed and I'm looking forward and excited about season 3 and hope there is many more to come
me too i love charmed its one of my favorite tv shows next to haven!
good news for return show.
I've really become enamored of Haven and love the plot lines and characters. I've never read the books but this series has definitely gotten and held my attention. The small Maine, although not really Maine, fishing village backdrop also makes it very appealing to me. So glad to hear they are doing a new season.
Thank goodness. I just can't wait. i loved the season 2 ending. It was just right.
I am soooo relieved thought it was going to be like every other show i love.... just as I get in to it it gets cut xxx TY SYFY xxxx
Good show, glad it was renewed. Was a shame about the season two finale though, it was quite weak.
Awesome, freaking awesome news! Already a happy camper and will be eagerly awaiting for Haven to return.
Awesome news! It definitely deserves it!
The american audience should know that Haven and so many other shows are watched all over Europe and the f....g nielsen box scrued a lot of people here. So many decent shows have been cancelled bacause of the total ignorance of the american people..........
It's getting popular in Australia too
"...ignorance of the american people..." lol
About 25,000 American households participate in the Nielsen ratings system out of an approximate 114,500,000 total American households with televisions (0.02183% of the total). It's a flawed system. Blame the system, and those that make their decisions based off it, instead of the "ignorant american" people (we've been "scrued" out of some good shows as well).
Glad to hear that Haven is back though.
Not to mention that you have to be in the same place for at least 6 years to get one of their diaries, so that rules out most younger people.
I was reading about how Nielsen isn't honestly reporting the ratings. They are hugely inaccurate, but even so who is to say they are honest? No one is there to compete with them, and thats a shame, because I read that they take money to make certain shows look better, and certain shows look worse. of course it may not be true, but a lot of money changes hands, and a lot of jobs depend on their findings, and they are accountable to no one.
Good answer.
Wow! What a waste of money!
Reasonably new to Haven - and living overseas... I believe the series has much more "legs" than most "stuff" so glad to see it's continuance... by the way - those of us outside the US "count" - programmes make money from syndication etc - so maybe US-centric viewing statistics should look at the bigger picture...
I'm happy it got renewed, wasn't that happy how they wrapped up things so quickly towards the end but still intrigued enough to there for season three
SOOO happy this finally happened :D What took them so long!
I love Haven, I`m so glad they renewed it! The finale was great, and it would`ve sucked if they left things hanging like that
eXCELLENMT NEWS, Thanks SYFY - I just hope the christmas episode doesn't follow in the footsteps of last year's WH13 christmas episode and ignore the season storyline.
While I also appreciate continuity, getting an extra episode later in the year during the drought season, even if it is a standlone non-canon type of episode is better than nothing =)
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy - best news ever - love this show
Excellent! :)
Excellent news! Entertaining show and cast.... great summertime show!
YES! I couldn't believe a few commenters on the Season 2 finale review forum said they didn't want Haven to be renewed. It's a great show, and I will definitely be tuning in for season 3. I also don't understand why some people think Audrey and Duke have all this chemistry, and actually believe that they will end up together. She's MEANT to be with Nathan. I mean, come on. A man who can't feel anything, with the sole exception of one woman's touch. It's damn near Shakespearean.
Prediction: We've known her as Sara, Lucy, and Audrey. When we see her again, I think she'll have a new name and a new fake identity. You know what this means? Poor Nathan.
I thought you'd like that!
Honestly, Season 2 ended on a very strong note. So it would have been really dumb to cancel this show.... then again we are talking about The Sy Fy (not sci-fi, mind you!) channel.
And it's definitely Nathan & Audrey. This particular love triangle reminds me of Lost; when people were saying Kate would end up with Sawyer (the bad boy, like Duke), when it was SO CLEAR it was gonna be Jack.
There's also suppose to be holiday episodes for Warehouse 13 and Eureka. If the Warehouse 13 episode is anything like last year it will be a little outside the storyline.
They both will be "outside-the-storyline" type episodes...
Awesome news. Emily Rose is really good and Eric Balfour has finally found a role and a show he can't kill; Duke is a great character whose relationship with Audrey is one of the best parts of this show. Despite it borrowing its cliffhanger ending from other shows it still has me completely invested in finding out what went down. I'd love to see what King's impression of this show is. So many critics immediately dismissed this show when it premiered yet I never understood the criticism and am glad this cast and crew can tell all those folks that bashed it to suck it.
Decent show. The girl looks PA Dutch. Kinda cute.
I love the show and it's fantastic news about the renewal.
It deserved to be renewed.
YEAH!!!
Great news!
the only good show, with Sanctuary, left on Syfy!
Love the show, HATE the long waits syfy puts it's viewers through =(
Outstanding.
yeah!
i really like this show
