...MTV really is going full steam ahead with this ludicrous "dramatic" TV version of Teen Wolf. Because the title Teen Wolf immediately stirs up images of terror and romantic longing, not a dude with hair glued to his face playing basketball. Whatevs. They've cast a few people now, including 7th Heaven alum Tyler Hoechlin as a handsome-but-dangerous local wolf character. Because nothing screams "Danger!" quite like 7th Heaven cast members. Actually, that's sort of true. [THR]
...Oh dear. From Oscar nomination to this. Thomas Haden Church, of Sideways and Wings, has been tapped to star in a six episode FearNet series. Yes, that weird OnDemand horror thing. Worse still? The series is called Zombie Roadkill and is about exactly what it sounds like it's about. [Variety]
...Nerds sci-fi fans rejoice! The latest, more-brooding-than-usual iteration of the Stargate franchise, Stargate: Universe, has been renewed by Syfy. As has something called Sanctuary, so double yays for you total dweebs space enthusiasts. [THR]
...The History Channel is making a big leap into the arena of scripted television, greenlighting their first miniseries. And it's a big topic! The Kennedys, from 24 producer Joel Surnow, follows the famous political dynasty from 1960 to 1968, with some flashbacks to earlier years. So we'll see JFK's election and assassination, Bobby Kennedy's near-election and assassination, and the familial dynamics that transfixed a gossip-hungry nation. If handled well, it could be fascinating. If not? All we hear is cheesy Bahhstin accents. [THR]
...MTV will not air that whole Snooki-getting-punched-in-the-face-by-a-dude thing that ran in a promo for a future episode of Jersey Shore. Won't stop that internet .gif from still floating around, though. Oof. [EW]
...The next season of depressing/uplifting/terrifying reality show The Biggest Loser will premiere in January, and NBC is touting that it will feature the show's heaviest contestant yet. They say that every time and, sadly enough, they are always right. The guy they got this time? A 526-pound DJ from Chicago. That's... astounding. [NYT]

And really looking forward to seeing Tyler Hoechlin back on TV hopefully the show is a success cause let's face it there are way worse shows on at the moment!
I've got mixed feelings about this article I'm glad Sanctuary was renewed for 20 episodes - That's an awesome show unfortunately can't say the same about SGU - That show really stinks mostly thanks to Robert Carlye's a**hole character he really needs to die but sadly he'll probably outlive everyone else and make us all sick in the meantime!
Richard lawson! What the hell have you got against Sci Fi Fans. I'd see a shrink if i were you!
Teen Wolf is a pathetic title.
