Just a week ago, The CW renewed The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and 90210, leaving Hart of Dixie, Gossip Girl, The Secret Circle, and Nikita to fight for spots on the network's schedule. Well, it looks like witches and twins got beat up.
Um, don't know if y'all are interested but Nikita season 3 is ON!!!— Craig Silverstein (@sesfonstein) May 11, 2012
Nikita seems like a pretty solid bet to be paired up with Supernatural on Fridays again.
The CW also ordered a final season for Gossip Girl, reportedly giving the once-buzzed-about series 11 episodes to wrap things up. Hart of Dixie also escaped cancellation with a 22-episode order.
That gives Josh Schwartz's Fake Empire productions four shows on The CW: Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, and two new series in Cult and The Carrie Diaries (more on those two new ones soon). Kind of makes Seth MacFarlane look like an underachiever.
