The CW Says "C U L8R, H8R"

The good news: Mario Lopez is now available for birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, and, you know, to just hang out. The better news: The CW has canceled its reality stunt H8R after four episodes, which is only four episodes too late.

The series, hosted by dimple-factory Lopez, facilitated meet-and-greets between normal people who talked smack about Z-list celebrities and the celebrities about which the smack-talking occurred, the idea being that the celebrities could try to convince their H8Rs not to hate them anymore. It was all pretty stupid, really. Among the famous folks who participated were Jake Pavelka (most recently of Bachelor Pad), Snooki, Eva Longoria, Joe Francis, Kim Kardashian, and a few other chumps.

Last night's episode drew 1.2 million viewers, who I assume were forced to tune in against their will. It scored a 0.4 rating in the adult demo, which is bad even by CW standards.

Along with the square wheel, H8R has to be one of the dumbest ideas ever. However, I figured that since the show was so cheap to make, it would've stuck around a bit longer. For those of you who are participating in our Dead Pool, H8R is worth a solid nine points and joins The Playboy Club and Free Agents in the Fall 2011 Canceled Shows Club.

Ugh, despite my complete hatred of this show, I didn't put in on my Dead Pool list -- of which I'm doing horribly in. I just didn't think CW would cancel a show that seems extremely cheap to make; plus, I assumed the stupid-teen viewership would be in to this kind of show.

I was arguing as to whether to add it to my list but fortunately I did.

It looks like there's about 6 people who picked all three. It also appears that this could be over before Grimm even premieres.

The ratings from yesterday should tell if Charlie's Angels will get canned.

Damn it! Not on my Dead Pool list. While I was sure this program is s**t, I thought this is the kind of drivel people watch, along with Jersey Shore, Teen Mom and similar shows. I should have succumbed to group pressure when most of you said it was going to be cancelled quickly. To be honest, I wasn't even familiar with the show's concept when I made the Dead Pool selection, so I had no opinion of it one way or another. I had to look up the show to find out what it was about. Ok, ok, I know, enough with the excuses... Right now my Dead Pool is really dying on me here.

I chose a few 'dark horses' and avoided some of the obviously soon-to-be-canned shows so I feel your pain.

I'm happy because this was on my list... but sad bc it probably doesn't matter anymore. Whitney screwed up my chances. Thanks for nothing NBC.

damn, I knew I should have put it on my dead-pool-list but I never watch reality shows so I wasn't sure how soon networks cancel them...

i thought it was an interesting concept, but they've only had one big name person: Eva Longoria, the rest have just been random nobodies

It only took what 3 to 4 episodes to get this show cancelled. Shouldn't have been made in the first place.

I guess a show has to suck hard to be on the CW and get cancelled.
