Every time I watch Better Off Ted (and that better be for awhile, ABC), I find myself laughing at nearly every aspect of the show: the ridiculous plot lines, the zany characters, the sarcastic Veridian Dynamics ads, and most of all, the one-liners. Victor Fresco has created a virtual quote mine with this sitcom, and the quotes keep getting better with every episode. Here are my five favorites from last night's installment, "Mess of a Salesman."
5. Phil (Jonathan Slavin), on adopting a more assertive attitude: "I'm gettin' me a damn cube of cheese!"
4. Ted (Jay Harrington), on deciding to help his brother deal with a cadaver problem: "I don't wanna reject your body. You got enough of that from every girl in high school."
3. Veronica (Portia de Rossi), on exerting more effort into a fundraiser: "It's time for this fawn to strap on a machine gun, spread its wings, and fly!"
2. Lem (Malcolm Barrett), on reaching a new level of comfort in the airport Admiral's Club: "Can we take our pants off in here?"
1. Linda (Andrea Anders), on defending Veronica's fund-raising efforts to upper management: "This woman opened her heart, and that happens so rarely, you could hear the hinges squeak. I will not let you slam that rusty heart-door shut."

How about from Linda: "I will tear off your head and tinkle in your skull." So weird and scary!
I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but I loved this line from Lust in Translation-- Veronica, warning Ted to stay away from the German executive: "Keep your Hansels off her Gretels." lol
My favorite from last night would have to be "What would you rather have for Christmas? A wind tunnel, a family of robots or a corpse?
