Geeky sitcom The IT Crowd has been given a fifth season, its creator has revealed.
The fourth season of Channel 4's hit comedy doesn't start until next month (June 25), but Graham Linehan claims it's already been renewed for a fifth.
Speaking at a press screening last night, The IT Crowd's creator told The Guardian that after single-handedly writing the show's first four seasons, he hopes to hire help penning the next.
Unusual as it is for shows to be re-commissioned this early The IT Crowd has proved its worth. Having already won an Emmy for best international comedy the series, starring Katherine Parkinson and Richard Ayoade, also won a BAFTA last year.

Hope the 4th id better than the 3rd, they seemed to be trying far to hard. . .
Super! I can't believe it, I didn't even know there was a fourth season. Yippie!
