The Tortures of Fall

Much to my chagrin, nothing was given away, only the cruel and unusual punishment of knowing that this tape is out there among the VIPs just waiting to be consumed. I was left with an increased anticipation for a Jack Shephard backstory.

Switching gears, I have been reading comments from all of you fabulous TV.com users on the new fall shows you are most highly anticipating, and now I am curious which shows you think will get the axe--which will be the first to go off the air?

I am dying to hear your thoughts, almost as much as I am dying to sneak over to ABC and rip that tape from the hands of those executives.

Dare me to do it?

i'm dying to see lost go for stealing the tape

  • WudaiWarrior5

Kidnapped should go, it's got te same plot almost every year. Yeah, I dare ya to do it, get that tape!

Wow. Calibach is just doin' his own little thing over there...

As for the premiere of Lost, I don't know if you were speaking figuratively or literally, but I was under the impression that the season premiere was a Kate-centric episode.

I really hope some of this reality shows gets cancelled... They make me sick... Some of the cool shows were cancelled cause some patetic people like watching how other people get humilated... Sick!

I'll be honest, at first I was all hyped up and excited to start watching shows like Vanished and Kidnapped, but as the commercials started to talk about giant government conspiracies and convoluted storylines, the excitement fizzled into disappointment. I just didn't care anymore. Also, all these celebrity/talent shows make me sick. Dancing With The Stars, Celebrity Duets, So you think you can dance?, blah-bity blah blah blah! WHO CARES ANYMORE!!! I will say this though, Celebrity Duets axed Chris Jericho in the first episode... the only person in the competition who, in his spare time from his wrestling career, is a PROFESSIONAL SINGER FOR A ROCK BAND! THEY ELIMINATED THE ONLY CELEBRITY WHO ACTUALLY HAS A RECORDING CONTRACT! These shows are the dung on the trashheap that is bad television. The one series that came out of left field and really surprised me was Standoff. So far, both episodes have been thoroughly entertaining and original. This, combined with it's following the super-smash House, guarantees Fox has tuesday's ratings bragging rights, in my opinion. I hope it cuts the mustard. I'd hate to see it go.Another good show so far is Justice. This series does for lawyers what House did for doctors. It's great. I love the different personalities on that show. Combine that with the "we don't care if he's guilty" and "win by any means necessary" attitude of the characters is riveting watching. The icing on the cake though is that atthe end of each episode, you get to see what really happenned! Was the client guilty? Stay tuned and find out. Brilliant! As far as anticipating though, the only new show I have high hopes for is Heroes from NBC. I hope they don't turn it into something cheesy. So much potential.moreless

I think Standoff and Kidnapped might go. Because it seems that every year there are two shows that are the same, but only one of the two surrives, and I think Kidnapped is the weaker of the two.

I think The Class will be cancelled! Show that I'm sure are going to be loved: The Nine and Traveler
