'Til Death renewed for fourth season

Wake up, we haven't been cancelled.

'Til Death isn't ending its marriage with Fox just yet. The sitcom's future has been in question for a few months now, but Fox made a surprise move late last week to give the show an order for a 22-episode fourth season, says Variety.

The move is shocking because Fox was giving 'Til Death mixed signals. The network pulled the program from its schedule in late October, leading many to believe the program was being dumped.

'Til Death stars Everybody Loves Raymond's Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher as the Starks, a couple that has been married for a long time and deals with the rigmaroles of waking up next to the same person every single day.

The show's third season still has several episodes left to air, but Fox has yet to reschedule them.

For this one, FOX must really be going nuts. This show has been in the ICU since it first was aired & I can't believe it's coming back again. It's like a bad penny -- but nobody wants this one.

Sitcoms just won't die!!! This and According to Jim should be erased from history. No dvds should be allowed to survive!

This is not a show I have any connection with. Are Fox desperate to keep some sort of non-animated comedy?

Agree with everyone in saying that the Woodcocks need to come back. Although Kenny shouldn't go as JB Smoove is very funny.

This show is being ruined by Brad f***ng Garret!! His ego is even bigger then his ridiculously big head. It's the reason why the woodcocks are gone and why no other actor or actress is anything other then a silly sidekick to this childish giant. Let's make Kenny cheat with his wife, kick him out, and bring back the Woodcocks, then we have a show. The fourty something recently single cheating spouse and the young couple!

How does this show keep getting renewed? It's horrible! I tried watching it, and it just isn't funny at all.

This seems really weird to me. I mean... they really picked this show up for a full 22 episodes next year when they have barely shown 10 of them this year with no apparent plan in place to show more.I really liked this show when they had the young neighbors on it and yes, Kenny is a solid addition but I am just sort of confused as to how this show will go on.

I'm excited! I know the show is very slap-stick and repetitive, but I find it enjoyable. It's one of the only comedies I enjoy on TV today, besides Old Christine, Gary Unmarried and 30 Rock. It isn't in a league with them, but it's still a fun way to spend a half-hour. The renewal also has nothing to do with the fact that FOX LIKES this show, but because they pay ALMOST NOTHING for it, so they capitalize on what they can and take virtually NO financial hit. It's a win-win situation for them. They make some profit from a show they pay almost nothing for.
