It's been a tough few weeks for Jada Pinkett-Smith. She made headlines for the wrong reasons when it was reported she was splitting with A-list hubby Will Smith (apparently they aren't actually done-zo, despite the rumors). Gossip-mongerers have also claimed she had an affair with Marc Anthony, J-Lo's ex. And then late yesterday, she was photographed without any makeup! Poor, poor incredibly wealthy celebrity woman.
But the exclamation point on her fortnight of horror came today when TNT formally announced it was canceling HawthoRNe, as reported by Deadline Hollywood. The medical drama has been on for three seasons, but the last episode drew only a meager 3.6 million viewers, which won't cut it on on-the-rise TNT.
And next up to be swept under the rug could be Memphis Beat. Deadline says the show, which stars Jason Lee as an Elvis-loving police detective, has a 50/50 chance of being canceled as well. Comparatively, Memphis Beat's last episode drew 4.9 million viewers, so I'm not sure where all this cancellation talk comes from.
Do you want to give Jada Pinkett-Smith a hug right now? Will you miss HawthoRNe?
