Today's Picks: Tim Gunn, Top Chef, and the Octomom

It's Wednesday night -- what happens on Top Chef: Las Vegas stays on Top Chef: Las Vegas.

Here are Wednesday's key new episodes:
America's Got Talent (9 p.m., NBC), Man vs. Wild (9 p.m., DSC),
Leverage (9 p.m., TNT), Dark Blue (10 p.m., TNT),
Michael and Michael Have Issues (10:30 p.m., COMEDY)

Also on the airwaves ...

Fastest Growing Companies of 2009 (6 p.m., CNBC): Despite its less-than-sexy title, this special report by Fortune and CNBC profiles five interesting companies -- including Chipotle and Decker Outdoor -- that are flourishing despite the economic downturn.

Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage (8 p.m., FOX): We can't help but be intrigued -- and disgusted -- by this two-hour special on Nadya Suleman and her brood of 14 kids. Even Jon and Kate can't compete with the Octomom!

Bobb'e Says (Series premiere, 8 p.m., CARTOON): Cartoon network isn't just for cartoons anymore! America's funniest kid hosts Bobb'e Says, an America's Funniest Home Videos for the younger crowd. But the live action doesn't stop there. Another new show, Dude, What Would Happen (series premiere, 8:30 p.m.), capitalizes on three teenagers' most mundane -- and hilarious -- hypotheses.

Top Chef: Las Vegas (Season 6 premiere, 9 p.m., BRAVO): Gamblers need to eat too, you know. For the sixth installment of Top Chef, BRAVO placed seventeen pretentious chefs smack dab in the middle of Sin City. Watch them talk trash and roll their eyes in annoyance during tonight's season premiere. And if one hour of Top Chef doesn't satisfy your palate, tune in at 10:15 p.m. for the season finale of Top Chef Masters.

The Daily Show (11 p.m., COMEDY): Tim Gunn makes an obviously promotional appearance on The Daily Show before Thursday's Project Runway season premiere. It's a good thing Jon Stewart has a solid wardrobe consultant -- otherwise he'd be under the Gunn.
