Tori Spelling headed back to 90210

BFFs 4ever KIT have a good summer!

It wasn't a matter of "if," but more a matter of "when." Tori Spelling is one step closer to returning to Beverly Hills, months after 90210 producers wouldn't meet her demands for more cash to guest star as her Beverly Hills, 90210 character Donna Martin.

Spelling is in final negotiations to appear in the CW's 90210, according to EW.com, and would appear in multiple episodes at the end of this season should everything go through without a hitch. The 35-year-old actress was almost signed on earlier this season, but asked to be paid the same amount that other O.G. 90210ers Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. (Tori was reportedly in the 10k-20k per episode pay range, whereas Jennie and Shannen were in the 35k-50k per episode scale.)

EW claims that it wasn't just lack of money and respect keeping Tori off the set--Shannen and Tori apparently still hold grudges from their fake-high-school days. The blonde and the brunette are rumored to be sworn enemies, and the potential of a grade-A catfight with both on set was too much to risk. Now that Shannen has wrapped her guest stint, the air is clear for Tori.

Now is a good time to get a sitrep for 90210--we're 12 episodes into season one…has it lived up to the hype? Do we even want Donna back?

wooohooo...I am Thrilled that Donna is returning. You Can't have Kelly and Brenda (plus Silver and even Kelly and Silver's mom) and Not pay Tori to return. YAY! teehehe!

It great that she's coming back, but also sucks that Shannen is leaving. I kinda wanted to see all three of the original girls appear together. Plus, Jennie and Shannen were able to make amends and they were on the show together for awhile. Why can't Tori get over it? What's her problem? Jennie got over it and so did Shannen.

If Donna is coming back, can she bring David back with her? It would be interestng to see what kind of brother he is. Brenda was not on BH90210 nearly as long as Donna. So, I am excited to see her come back.

NOTHING compares to my original Zip Code-that said... I feel BLESSED to have anotherincarnation, with ties to the original...while I have enjoyed Brenda's return-nothing excites me more than a Kelly/Donnareunion... you have no idea!! I was an avid fan (of new episodes) for ten years, and have hung on to every repeat and DVDin between...I think we need Donna Martin back inthe Hills... and I think Tori is aBEAUTIFUL person (inside and out.)Anybody that would take the time to sit hereand type hate for her or the new show I pity-focus on something you love, like I do-90210- past, and present.now how about a little Mrs. Teasley return???

I hate to see Shannen go, but I don't mind Tori coming back. I think it keeps the show interesting to have the alumni cast coming in and out of the story lines... I'll be staying tuned!

Donna is too boring. They're barely found decent story lines for Shannen and Jennie. Can't imagine what Donna could bring to it. The show in general is lacking the flair of the original show. I follow the new one just to see if it improves.

I definitely prefer Shannon than Tori. The character Donna was way too boring and always will...

The show certainly has its problems. If they are trying to win over the fans of the original, this may be the way.

Wow, am I not interested in this one. Not only do I not want Tori Spelling on this show, but I'd rather the show just be put out of its' own misery. I know, I know. This is the viewer demo that CW is going for, come on now.
