Aaron Spelling was the greatest person tv could offer. Only Charmed could have been made by a successful, and creative man like Aaron Spelling. May we remember, and treasure his life's work, as he goes on to a better place.

Thank You for making the only show I looked forward to watching everyday since 12 years old, Charmed.

    We'll miss you Aaron.

Aaron Spelling was a great at bringing great shows on the air for us to enjoy. It was very sad news and a great loss to the television industry.

I have been really thinking about all the shows I watch. I am a teenager and hooked on soaps. I realized that so many of the shows I love so dearly were produced by Aaron Spelling. Bevery Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Charmed, 7th Heaven, He was an important asset to the world of television and will be greatly missed by so many people. I am included in those people. Here's a tribute to an amazing man who made the world of television an amazing place.

  • Fishmomma

He will be missed rest in peace.

  • Leann15

In the month of August 1996, I got HOOKED on the Television series Seventh Heaven. Today I am looking foward to see the show again. Since I don't have a grandfather on both sides of my parents, it was hard to have Aaron Spelling die. Even thought I never knew him he was a great man who enjoyed making families happy with what they wanted to see on television.
His creative genius will be missed. Who else will be willing to take the chances he took? His shows were so much more fun to watch than some of the current "hits". He breathed life into a lot of tired careers. RIP Mr. Spelling.

  • mystarx

Aaron Spelling had an unbelievable gift of creating hit tv series and no one will ever compare to him and his success.

  • chiayitay

Aaron Spelling was really a cool guy. I mean he must had been a cool guy to produce hit series like Charmed and the others. Although he's body was gone forever, he's soul always remains with us, within our heart through his fantastic work of great TV series.

  • flipper2001

Carolyn Jones really made him famous, she pushed his talents of writing while he was trying hard (unsucessfully) to be an actor.

He later fought hard when she said she did not want kids, he tried for many years to change her mind but she stood her ground and they parted.

His dream of kids came true but he really never got over the loss of Carolyn who passed away in 1983 as a result of colon cancer.

• niggagrl

tv just wont be the same anymore without his programmes

  • Lawrencevanrijn

The man is a global legend. In europe and the Netherlans his series have been top for over a quarter of a century.
The series Starsky and Hutch was a trial for a radiostation who turned TV station. It was a megahit and was one of the reasons why that TV station became so popular. Wednesday evening 20:30 on Veronica 'Starsky and Huth'. Those are moments you always happily remember.

  • WhereAreWe

:( oh Aaron, why you gotta leave me like this? I cry inside everyday...

  • ilovemyshows619

Its so sad, he made so many great shows. I was just shocked by this news. He is truly one of a kind and he will be missed.

  • Beach_Bunny13

He brought us so many television shows. Many of the shows that I watched were a product of Spelling television. In fact as I write this I'm watching a marathon of Beverly Hills 90210. His shows werent just good, many of them were touching. They sure have tought me many things over the years. The world has really lost a legend. My sincere condolences go to the family.

  • dougalderman

It will be an uphill challenge to approach replacement of this television icon. Hats off and a moment of silence for Mr. Spelling.

  • kimwinkelman

Well, I must say I am saddened to read this. I watched almost every show listed here. My heart goes out to his family. God Bless.
Aaron Spelling will be missed. Though he had some hits, he also had some failures. One of which was Life With Lucy (Lucille Ball's final series).

Another failure was The Heights, which skyrocketed Jamie Walters acting/singing career.

Just a note to Tori, Sorry for your loss.It is never easy to loose someone even if they have been ill for a long time and know that there illness will overcome them. Always remember the good times and what time you had with him. Don't ponder what if, like you wish you would have said something or done something different. Take care and take time to heal.
I fell in love with Mr. Spelling in the 80's when I fell in love with Love Boat. In the 90's I watched both BH90210 and Melrose Place every week. And I was very sad to see my most favorite show, Charmed say good bye this year. This one man changed TV and made it so enjoyable. I hope that he knew how much we enjoyed his work of art and he will be missed.

I was still a teenager in Poland, when "Charlie's Angels were presented in our TV. It was always a film which we watched with pleasure and waited impatiently to see (at last) the mysterious Charlie. I think it was one of the most successful series in our TV, the best proof that I remember it 25 years after...
