WGBH Boston, Gourmet magazine, and Zero Point Zero Productions Wednesday announced a partnership resulting in a new food and travel series,
Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie, that will premiere on American Public Television on October 7.
The 20-episode series, which is being funded exclusively by national financial services organization TIAA-CREF, will travel around the world to give viewers a look at "the inner circles of the world of food." It also will feature Gourmet editor-in-chief Ruth Reichl and other Gourmet food editors showing viewers how they can make the food in their own homes.
The show is produced by WGBH and Zero Point Zero in association with Gourmet magazine and Discovery Networks International.
