Here's what we thought was out of sight and just not right on television this week.
Swell:
... Mickey Rooney's bizarro guest appearance on Eagleheart
We didn't even realize that Mickey was still alive (though we figured this is exactly what he would be like if he was).
... Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood dueting it up at the Academy of Country Music Awards
It was the performance that die-hard Aerosmith fans have been waiting for forever! The odd mix of old and new... young and old... selling out and selling up... was totally entertaining (even if Tyler did get a little handsy with lil' Underwood).
... The return of TLC's Extreme Couponing
Between Extreme Couponing and Outrageous Kid Parties, TLC has gone from unwatchable weirdness to strangely watchable weirdness.
... Game of Thrones staying faithful to its source material
Producer Dan Weiss, in a conference call earlier today: "The reason we've been so faithful to the book in the first season isn't because of contracts or anything, it's because we love the book." Amen, brother!
... Stephen Colbert's British Invasion
His afternoon tea lesson was smashing!
Hell:
... Bravo's Pregnant in Heels
Honestly, wouldn't sweatpants and some slippers be more comfortable? Do your unborn a favor and take the nine months off.
... The NCAA Championship game
After rounds and rounds of superb games and excellent TV coverage, the season finale of sports' grandest tournament may have been the biggest stinker of all time.
... Michaele Salahi sayingher popularity is what killed The Real Housewives of Washington, D.C.
Are you sure it wasn't your modesty, Michaele?
... Iggy Pop on American Idol
We like to remember the Iggy who trashed venues with The Stooges. Yeah, we'll just choose to remember him like that.
What made your list of loves and hates this week?

ofcourse who knows what the people who are down on iggy will look like when they are that age///people who are unhappy with themselves are the ones who can't wait to say some nasty about somebody they don't even know. and someone who was a huge star on top of it. he does not need your approval he laughs all the way to the bank and back!
Iggy Pop without a shirt! Ugh! Doesn't this wrinkly old grandpa know he's past the age to go shirtless? I did not enjoy that!
how could you have missed jon stewart as glen beck?
Jon Stewart as Glenn Beck. Jon is a freaking genius!
What about the KILLING PREMIERE!
whatever you are doing stop it and go watch British comedy Friday Night Dinner, you will roll on the flor
Nikita, Franco on Colbert and Jon Stewart as Glen Beck!
Carrie Underwood is a major hottie, and she can really sing!!! Without a doubt, the best thing to come from Idol.// Poor Butler... shades of the Bills Super Bowl follies.// I'm glad to hear that GOT is sticking to the book... hopefully they do that in future seasons as well, and don't get True Blood-itis, whose arrogant writers decided they're more creative than a 9 time best selling author!
COLBERT!
Lights Out series finale = swell. R.I.P. :( (FX, you suck).
totally agree with carrie underwood and steven tyler being swellovision and the ncaa championship game being hellovision. also on my swellovision list is the wonderful episode of big bang theory :)
Bravo, Stewart wwas incredible!!!!
Jon Stewart's Glenn Beck impersonation should have made the swell list. Or at least the end of Glenn Beck's show should have.
