TV.com's Swell-o-vision vs. Hell-o-vision (October 29)

Here's what we loved and hated on tv this week! What made your list?

Swell

...Obama on Stewart
Way to go Stewart for asking hard-hitting questions and for giving Obama the mug force one.

...SNL's weekend update was off the HOOK!
Between John Mulaney feel good rant and Stefon being Stefon, we were beside ourselves.

...Tim Cowlishaw as Raiders owner Al Davis
The sports talking head did his flawless Davis impression for an entire episode of ESPN's Around the Horn for Halloween.

...Dee turning into an ostrich on It's Always Sunny.
So in keeping with their style, this was pretty much the ultimate way to find out officially what we already all knew.

...The BBC series Sherlock is one of the best versions ever.
The updated Sherlock with Internet and cell phones is British and brilliant.

Hell:

...No 30 Rock this week.
Everyone else did a Halloween episode; we would have loved to have seen what Tina Fey and company came up with.

...Two TV classics passed away this week
We'd like to honor the contributions of both Lamont Johnson, great director and James MacArthur aka the guy who originally said "Book em Danno".

...Campaign ads
They make everyone look terrible.

...Cathy actually tells someone significant that she has cancer on The Big C.
We're happy she finally did, but damn that took WAY TOO LONG.

...The Shrek special.
We'll say, "yes" to Kristen Schaal as the Gingerbread man's psycho girlfriend, but to the rest of the special a big "No, thank you."

That's because the people in the campaign ads are terrible.

This lame hulu service operates only within the USA. TV.COM should try a decent webcast service like YOUTUBE, instead.

Thanks, Heavenns. Not only did these "TV writers" get the "Book'em Dano" wrong, it was in sophomoric bad taste to put a pair of obits under the Hell listing.

Community's halloween episode should be at the top of the Swell list. I can't say enough good about this show. And, yeah. Danno didn't say "Book 'em, Danno."

Community and Glee were my highlights this week. anything with Obama is an automatic tune out. he is not a celebrity, stop treating him like one. and i hate Shrek, since the beginning, so i didn't watch that special. should've kept 30 Rock on and had Outsourced take a night off

How can this be a complete list if it doesn't include any of the Friday night TV shows??? The article was wriitten in the morning before the shows even aired, like the classic Charlie Brown Halloween special, among others.

James MacArthur was Danno, he didn't "say it" Jack Lord as McGarrett said it TO HIM - Maybe they shouldn't write about TV if you don't know who is who
