We know you've been busy putting together your Jim Belushi Halloween costume from According to Jim Season 5, so we went ahead and gathered up the best and worst TV moments of the week.
Swell:
... The "ZZ Top Gun" Halloween costume on Happy Endings
Or was it Max and Penny's mom-and-baby costume that was the highlight? Or Dave's extended "Ummmmmm"? Or Max's holiday comparisons? Or the "Turn over... this isn't over" messages from the neighborhood kids? Or the uniform/costume confusion in the convenience store? Man, what a fantastic episode.
... Happy 10th birthday, Pardon the Interruption!!
The Emmy-winning best show on ESPN is a decade old and a daily must-watch for sports fans. Tony and Mike are still bringing it after ten years of yelling and laughing at each other. Congratulations, guys. Plus, Obama gave them a shout out! Now please, cancel Dan Le Batard's show.
... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's "CharDee McDennis" drinking game
The "game of games" indeed! It's like Cranium for masochistic alcoholics. And it's inevitably coming soon to college campus near you... and just after that, an emergency room near you.
...
South Park's tribute to Broadway and BJs
The Book of Mormon creators took their Tony Award dominance and made a crude episode about how Broadway is all about fellatio. And Stephen Sondheim got involved in a "bro-down."
... Frasier is a MEAN son of a bitch!
Kelsey Grammer has left all comedy behind as the intense Chicago mayor Tom Kane in Starz's Boss. After a few years off, we can throw his name back into the Emmy race, but this time with the big boys in the Drama category.
... Gabe's "cinema of the unsettling" film on The Office
Poor Erin!
Hell:
... Rachel Cook's Performance on The X Factor
Of the myriad hellish performances this week, this one was the most uncomfortable to watch. It reminded us of Toddlers and Tiaras with Simon as the show mom.
... American Horror Story's pleas to DirecTV subscribers
Ryan Murphy has lent his voice, likeness, and time to a very important cause: Himself. And he does it with such enthusiasm.
...
NBC spending $100 million to find a hit
Good luck with that, guys.
... The mess that is Man Up!
Tim Allen, you're safe. This show makes makes yours look like the best thing since Seinfeld.
... The Walking Dead's Andrea, professional zombie magnet
Why are the meatbags picking on her so much? Hasn't she been through enough already?
What made your list of TV loves and hates this week?

"The game of Cards that gets you hard"
Swell: American Horror Story. Like, all of it. And Cassie's slutty bee costume.
Hell: TV getting postponed for baseball, ever.
"And she ripped into his torso, like a gerbil shredding a Quaker Oats box, sending chunks of viscera and an aerosol mist of blood all over the skanky concubine. The she flossed her teeth with his tendons. And, because he was a a vampire, he lived through all of it. He had to watch her swallow his last eyeball. She kept it attached to the optic nerve, so he could see down her throat, to his own partially digested flesh in...her...stomach."
I heart Annie :)
No credit for v diaries and secret circle dam what about supernatural
Also Hell: BASEBALL.
swell: Fringe is no. 1 on the most popular shows scale!!
Watch live on Friday!
Fringe Rocks!
Ultra Hell: Baseball Happened.
Whoo! PTI! But please, don't hate on Lebby.
Happy Endings was a definite Swell! It was very funny. I think out of all the comedies they did the best halloween episode. Suburgatory was also hilarious.
Swell: Stephen Colbert's take on the Herman Kane ad, the camaraderie between Michael Ware and Cornell West on Real Time, the Prime Suspect episode I watched since CSI was a rerun from last season. Hell: The sexy costume fashion show on Real Time, Grover Norquist sounding like Charlie Sheen at the end of his interview on Real Time, and hearing that NBC plans to soften Tennyson's image on Prime Suspect. Way to throw away whatever goodwill you might have gotten from the Prime Suspect marathon, NBC; no wonder your network is last.
CAIN, not Kane.
P.S. this site has major troll problems...Happy Endings' ep has a 6.7 right now...what a joke.
the last one about Andea... was weak. Actually for someone that has read the comic, the whole show is Weak
SPOILER ALERT
Do not keep reading if you haven't watch this week's Supernatural.
The showdown of the two brothers versus the two leviathans impersonating them. Com'on Dean, swing away those heads you motherf**ker!
I would have put The Office in the "Hell" category.
Wow you had to still mention Man Up! on your hate list. I personally like the show and I know it not likely to survive. If you want the show to fail so badly, why won't you just stop watching it.
Swell: Dean mouthing the words to 'All Out Of Love'
Hell: Fringe being postponed - I suffer withdrawal on a day to day basis which is bad enough, extra weeks.....
Swell: "Troy & Abed sawed together" jingle at the end of Community, the very first minute of Grimm, Helen Magnus' surprising kiss at the end of Sanctuary, John Reese flirting.
Hell: the rest of Grimm, no Fringe episode
I'm worried that with NBC's reckless spending, it's going to cancel some really good shows (Parks&Rec, 30 Rock, Community) just because they're not meeting the numbers that guarantee a hit. *knock on wood*
Also, Happy Endings was, indeed, swell.
Hell: TWD's Andrea. The character, as a whole, is really starting to suck.
I have to say happy endings is pleasantly and surprisingly swell! Didn't expect much from it...but its wonderful
Swell: Annie and her great cleavage turning into a werewolf... with great cleavage.
Happy Endings was hilarioussss, love it. I also wish we could go back in time to when Fringe was pulling great numbers on tuesdays, and then make sure Fox doesn't make the idiotic decision to move it to Thursday.
Swell: Parks and recreation's halloween episode! :)
Hell: The disappointment that was Grimm. Also the world series benching Fringe :(
swell: community - troy humming abed's radio song :D :D :D
Swell: the return of peter!
Hell: world series pushed back fringe for another week
My hell moment was the first victims scream in Grimm. That was pretty much the worst scream I have heard in a long time..
I found I was screaming all throughout the episode ...... what rubbish ... " Nick, your parents didn't die in a car crash ..... they were killed .... Da da da daaaa "
At least it's well named ......... Grimm
Swell: The "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" mini-marathon stunts on Teen Nick's "The '90s Are All That" block!
Kudos to Nickelodeon for listening to the viewers and bringing back all these 90s shows. I can't remember how many nights I stayed up past midnight watching this programming block. I love the Boomerang channel too.
Here's a Hell moment , Baseball happened and they yet again pushed Fringe another week , Just give it, it's premium spot back already
This was truly an inner circle of hell moment. How much more punishing can Fringe take? I cannot think of a show from the last 10-15 years that would have been this underrated. The disparity between how good this show is and how few people appreciate/watch it is massive enough to fill an alternate universe. I hate to see a show this good trampled on in this way. Whenever Fringe comes to an end, I just wish it is worthy the show. If it ends in a cliffhanger and gets cancelled or is simply pulled off the air, I will honestly cry. The fate of a show has never given me as much heart-burn as Fringe's. To what universe have I got to move to see a version of this show that is treated with justice?moreless
Anyone else expecting the next promo for Last Man Standing to say "Best thing since Seinfeld" -TV.com?
