TV.com's Top 100 Everything of 2010: 100-91

2010 was a banner year for television, which means there was certainly no shortage of nominees for our third annual "Top 100 Everything" list. Here you'll find the shows, characters, and episodes that made 2010 amazing—as well as the behind-the-scenes players, trends, and TV-relevant happenings that helped shaped the culture of television this year.

We'll be posting 10 items each weekday through December 31, so check back often to see what made the cut!

100. Bravo's casting directors

The network's many reality shows feature some of the craziest people around, and we're not even talking about the looney bin known as the Real Housewives franchise. Zac on Top Chef: Just Desserts had more flair than his confections, and Miles from Work of Art ejaculated onto his art. Bravo, Bravo.

I thought it was a spunky move."" link="/work-of-art-the-next-great-artist/show/78501/summary.html" target="_blank" loc="left">

99. Easing the sting of Parks and Recreation's break

New York Magazine's pop culture off-shoot site Vulture let the cast of Parks and Recreation take over a bit: The Pawnee gang posted a series of hilarious P & R photo essays while NBC was busy airing Outsourced in their place, and we got a much-needed Ron Swanson fix.

98. Amazing Race Contestant, meet Watermelon

No words necessary here. Just watch.

97. The scariest stairwell ever

The Walking Dead's pilot episode introduced us to a world where those who'd passed away got up and starting trying to eat us. The scariest part of the scariest episode of television involved eerie silence, a barren stairway, and stupid matches that wouldn't stay lit! The whole episode was brilliant, but this scene didn't serve any purpose except to scare us silly. And it did.

96. Celebrities on Twitter

Stars both fake and real embraced the social networking application this year, and now we're one step closer to being full-blown stalkers. In between TMI tweets about what Ryan Seacrest had for breakfast, the service actually became a legitimate way to bring TV news (and a whole lot of boring, trivial excess) to the masses.

95. Everything Zack Galifianakis

Homeless Santa Claus, as he calls himself, used his The Hangover stardom to vault to the next level, but thankfully the only thing that changed is that more people knew who he was. He delivered one of Saturday Night Live's best opening monologues in a long time, starred in Season 2 of HBO's Bored to Death, and smoked a joint during a taping of Real Time with Bill Maher.

94. So You Think You Can Dance

Guilty pleasure alert: Despite a season plagued by injuries, this summer saw the show's best-ever roster of dancers paired with an excellent slate of all-stars. What a bunch of really nice, talented kids. (Team Billy!)

93. Eastbound & Down's Aaron

Tough guys are bred differently south of the border, and Aaron, all four-feet-four-inches of him, is one of the baddest. The wife-beater-clad, Jehri-curl-wearing Aaron had us cracking up and watching where we step.

92. Bill Hader as Stefon on SNL

Flamboyantly funny.

91. Denis O'Hare on True Blood

O'Hare stole our hearts (or ripped them out, if you prefer) with his incredible performance as Russell Edgington in HBO's vampire hit. A Southern gentleman who prefers the company of men, Russell is the show's best baddie by far.

Well you 'suits' did it again. You ruined this list by mentioning parks and recreation. NO ONE WATCHES IT!! This crummy show has to hope for 5 million viewers.Even Pawn Stars and Hannah Montana beat this dog in the ratings.

Great to see an amazing clip of 'The Amazing Race' there, although it would've been nice for it to rate higher! The last season was awesome! :)

Stefon is one of the funniest characters I've seen on TV in quite a while. And that Zack Galifianakis clip is just all kinds of Epic! I didn't think I could like that guy any more than I already did, but he proved me wrong.

Saturday Night Live?? Does anyone still watch it?? It has sunk to new lows. Last night I watched the Very Gilley Christmas SNL Special. First off Gilley is a very annoying and unfunny character. The funniest skits were the ones from the 70's, 80's and 90's....except the Schvedie Balls skit.

98 is a great example of just what's wrong with TV these days. Good grief, she could have seriously hurt herself and they're STILL forcing her to finish?

I would have hoped Denis O'Hare would be higher on the list. He was just a great character. he was scary and funny at the same time and then at the end he was just insane.

Oh come now. Denis O'Hare at number 91? But I am glad Eastbound & Down and Parks & Recs are on here. Also, never heard of the Watermelon fiasco on Amazing Race till now. Very happy I saw that!

Interesting thing that i was watching pilot ep. of "The Walking Dead" alone at night and in dark and when that staircase scene shows up, i opened the light (not something that i usually do while watching a horrory-thingy)... It is good to see that it made the list, shows that i'm not the only one... :)
